"In the Name of Love: And Other True Cases" contains the very same story as "In the Name of Love," which does not also contain "And Other True Cases."
When I searched My Library, I should have been directed to the shortened version I owned, and I was not.
Therefore, I repurchased a full book with content I already owned but did receive a brief addition. Had I known, I certainly wouldn't have blown my money on this regurgitation.
Audible.com and Ann Rule ought read pay attention to the cover page of republished written books. To the best of my knowledge, when a book is reprinted, in whole or in part, the front cover of the book says such.
Why? So people like me don't get upset when we pay for the same book that's already on our bookshelves disguised under a different name. Take note, Audible.com and Ann Rule. This practice is deceptive and should be corrected immediately.
The ONE star is my optimistic thinking that maybe Audible.com or Ann Rule will be curious as to why this reader is ticked off.

authentic, professionally dictated, fascinating
when the writer himself speaks
no, but will dig for him in the future

TEN STARS VERSUS FIVE
The authenticity, the bravery, the no-holding back in erasing a depraved animal.
An author with talent, other than the usual so-so
A narrator whose voice isn't fingernails on a blackboard

Joe Barrett is an excellent reader for this genre.
These authors are the FBI's original profilers. Smart, gutsy, creative and determined.
I enjoy the credibility John Douglas brings to the table by narrating his own book.
I remember this incident, so it was nice to learn more of the background story.
The interaction between mother and daughter.
The book could have been cut down quite a bit. So much detail re minor characters, I became frustrated. Didn't finish the book b/c it dragged on and on, but had heard enough and was satisfied when I stopped.
