Listening to stories should be considered a hobby. It's one of the things I most enjoy, along with sewing and quilting. Retired too. Ahhh!

The first victims are random. Ordinary citizens, fired upon at rush hour by unseen assassins. Caught in the crossfire of one of the attacks, rescue specialist Jonathan Grave spies a gunman getting away - with a mother and her young son as hostages. To free them, Grave and his team must enter the dark heart of a nationwide conspiracy. But their search goes beyond the frenzied schemes of a madman's deadly ambitions. This time, it reaches all the way to the highest levels of power.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I wouldn't recommend this audiobook to anyone but I would recommend this book as a hard copy.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The premise of the story was good. It was not the edge of your seat book I usually read from this author and it took a bit of patience to get through the beginning. The story picked up but by the end, I was glad it was over.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The storyteller's pace was too erratic. One minute the Main character is the focus, when in less than a breath, the secondary characters are introduced. What happened? Did I miss something relevant? This happened through out the audiobook.
