Best listen in a long time. Read the reviews online and decided to use my credit. Boy was it worth it! I was pulled in from the beginning and by the end I was crying. Bring the tissues.

Coworkers, acquaintances and former lovers know Rourke Kilpatrick as a dashing district attorney who doesn’t let emotions get in his way. If he breaks a heart or bends the law to prosecute a criminal, he does so without apology. That’s why he is the first person 24-year-old Rebecca Cullen calls for advice when the younger brother she’s been forced to raise by herself gets arrested on trumped-up drug charges.

Nothing incites Marcus more than the primal hunger roused by his former fiancée, Elizabeth. It’s been years since she jilted him for another man, but that only means there’s a lot to catch up on, a lot to make up for, and that he’s going to enjoy every sweet moment.… The same drive and passion that sent her into another man’s arms is what brings Elizabeth back to Marcus. Her attraction to him is the one thing she fears, but she’s run out of options. Resisting is impossible. But does she have the courage to surrender everything?

Emily Portsman has a secret, and three years ago she decided the best way to keep it would be to work at the Tantalus Club, a notorious gaming establishment for gentlemen. It's not the sort of work a beautiful, well-bred governess would ever consider - unless she's hiding from her past and a man who wants to destroy her present.... Nate Stokes, Earl of Westfall, is a supremely accomplished former spy more at home on London's seedy streets than in any glittery ballroom. His peers know him only as a bookish fellow who can find anything - or anyone....

Would you try another book from Suzanne Enoch and/or Anne Flosnik?

I have listened to and read some of the author's other books and found them enjoyable. I like Anne Flosnik. Her voice can be a little unemotional at times.

Would you ever listen to anything by Suzanne Enoch again?

    Maybe.

What does Anne Flosnik bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

    I like her accent.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Parts were good. Just didn't do it for me. I listen to a lot of audiobooks and maybe I'm more critical than most.

Would you listen to The Wanderer again? Why?

Yes definitely! Robyn Carr and Therese Plummer are the perfect combination. Robyn Carr's books capture you from the start.

What did you like best about this story?

The love the character relationships. I found myself laughing out loud and getting strange looks from my children : )

What about Therese Plummer’s performance did you like?

Therese Plummer is one of my favorite narrators. She has the ability to bring a real voice to every character. I find myself getting lost in the voices she gives and she makes them believable.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I don't think there was a particular moment. The whole story line moved me.

Suspended until he gets his act together, bull rider Chase McKay has sworn off women. Forever. Or at least a month. Whichever comes first. Actress Ava Cooper became a tabloid target when her boyfriend was outed as gay. When she goes into hiding in an abandoned trailer, though, she finds it occupied by the kind of red-blooded cowboy she needs to prove she’s got the goods between the sheets.
