"I LOVE this story!"
Everything, but particularly the chapter on dogs as surrogates for women in lieu of having children.
I can't pick just one thing. It's one of the first non-fiction books I have read in a long while and I was very, very pleased.
"I <3 Waverly Bryson!"
Everything! The story was great, the characters were well developed and you really relate to them.
"Just the story I was looking for"
Not in my top ten, but it was still enjoyable.
I was looking for a realistic chick-lit love story that wasn't full of "Oh John!" "Oh Martha!" moments. The story was easy to follow and ended well. It was exactly what I was looking for.
No, but I am now on the lookout for more of her performances.
No, I did not.
"Please note, I am not a regular Patterson reader."
I loved the performance, but I also liked the story. I am not a regular Patterson reader.. this is actually the first book I've tried. I can honestly say, I wouldn't have picked it up if it wasn't for the narrator.. but I am very glad I did; based on reviews I wasn't expecting a very decent story and I was happily disappointed on that front. I found it very entertaining.
Again, I have nothing to compare it to.. although because of the excerpt from the new Women's Murder Club book at the end I am going to probably try those next.
The more appropriate question would be what DIDN'T I like? Matt Bomer needs to read all of the books.
I could have if I would have had the time to do so. There were parts that were definitely more exciting than others, but it was a good story.
I gave this book a shot and I am very happy I did. Matt Bomer's narration is EXCELLENT and the story is easy to get into. If you're on the fence, give it a try! :)
