Very inspiring book. Going through some tough times in my own life and this story truly helped to renew my faith and strength. Excellent encouragement in the worst of times.

This is a very disturbing revelation of how children are abused in our world today. I had heard about children soldiers but didn't fully understand that they were running and hiding to survive, to avoid being taken. The fact that their own citizens made them outcasts out of fear made you want to scream. Thank God that there are people trying to make a difference. I for one am investigating how I can help.

I've just discovered Christian Fiction. Figured romance novels with God sprinkled in. Just pray and you'll get your man. So wrong! This book and her others are filled with drama, real life issues, challenges that we all face in one way or another. It shows how God moves in the background, how things that appear coincidental are truly scripted by God. I'm a King and Koontz fan and still am entertained and moved by this author.

Loved this book. While it gives the reader a much clearer view into the dehumanization of being a slave (things you would never even think about) it shows how God moves in our lives and what comfort trust and faith can bring. This is one of the best books I've downloaded. The writing puts you right there. Concerned it might be a cheesy romance novel, but not at all, very profound.
