Her perspective on all things about being a middle aged woman in today's world.
I laughed and cried with her.
I found this book a good listen and related to her and her stories.
I was a good quick listen.
I always like to hear the writer read their own work.
Do what ever is most important first thing in the morning.
This is a book that immediately captures your interest with the very first story within the story.
I loved that she told her own story. In her own words and her own voice. It was hard to hear all the horrible things that she endured but it is a story of survival. I was also impressed with how well written it was. She didn't get to go to school after she was taken so that makes this work even more impressive.
I don't think I had ever listened to a "christian" novel before so this was a pleasant surprise. It was wonderfully visual and gave a new way to think about the world around me.
While this was my first Frank Peretti novel it won't be my last.
Listening to Carol Burnett tell her story was the perfect way to experience this book.
When Carol talked about losing her daughter to cancer.
