One of the most determined, energetic, and lusty heroines in all of English literature, Daniel Defoe's Moll Flanders will do anything to avoid poverty. Born in Newgate Prison, she was for 12 years a whore, five times a wife (once to her own brother), 12 years a thief, and eight years a transported felon in Virginia before finally escaping from the life of immorality and wickedness imposed on her by society. She is as much a survivor and just as resourceful as Defoe's other great literary creation, Robinson Crusoe.

This is one of those rare occasions, where the movie is better than the book. I was quite bored with this book many times. I think this book would have greatly benefited from a companion for the main character throughout the entire story. This book was all about the main character's madness/loneliness and he just came off creepy and weird. Not likeable at all. I have read this book and listened to the audio. I thought the book was ok when I read it, and I think the narrator's portrayal did not help. .

Heading off for a weekend in Las Vegas with her friends, Jessie Ralle has only one worry: how to make it through the road trip in the same car as her ex, Jimmy Kelter. The guy she hasn’t come close to getting over since he broke up with her five months ago. The guy who’s finally ready to tell her why he did it, because now he wants her back. Only, sometimes knowing why doesn’t actually make things better. Sometimes it leads to bigger, more terrifying questions.

What made the experience of listening to Witch World the most enjoyable?

    The story was very imaginative.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Witch World?

Understanding how the real world and witch world interact.

What about Justine Eyre’s performance did you like?

She kind of got on my nerves a bit acutually. Especially her voice for the main characters best friend, Alex.

    Any additional comments?

I want more Christopher Pike audiobooks on here. This book definitely finishes with a lot of loose ends. I definitely hope he was foreshadowing a 2nd book.

I great story, with lots of interesting characters.

What did you like best about this story?

The build up at the hospital...

    Any additional comments?

The name of this book really threw me off.....It took me a while to actually purchase it, becuase I thought it would be a dumb story. But it is as good of a zombie story as most others out there, in my opinion, better than most. Do not let the name of this book deter you as long as it did me.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

If you are in a very quiet room just focusing on the book, maybe you can follow it better than me. I kept finding myself drifting from this book. I had to re-listen to several parts.

How could the performance have been better?

I found this book to be drawn out. The first book kept me very interested, but by comparison, this one is so slow. Not really exciting.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disgust at the actions that the some of the females had to endure.

When you have to kill the same terrorist twice in one week there’s either something wrong with your world or something wrong with your skills - and there’s nothing wrong with Joe Ledger’s skills. And that’s both a good and a bad thing. It’s good because he’s a Baltimore detective who has just been secretly recruited by the government to lead a new task force created to deal with the problems that Homeland Security can’t handle....

What would have made Patient Zero better?

The book was well written, however it was not appealing to me. I was expecting pure zombie chaos. Instead I got, the investigative secret agent point of view.

Would you ever listen to anything by Jonathan Maberry again?

Probably not, because I'm not really into police stories

    Any additional comments?

Keep in mind, this is not a bad book. Just know what your getting. It is a police thriller, not a zombie thriller. So if you want the police point of view of this, then you'd really enjoy it. If your looking for the victim's point of view, try a differnt book.

One of the best-selling apocalyptic thrillers in Spain available for the first time in English! The city of Malaga is dead, but the promised eternal rest has yet to come to its inhabitants. In the Carranque camp, 30 survivors have built a shelter to keep out the dangers of the world. They fight not only to recover the city, but also the physical and mental degradation of surviving day to day after the pandemic. One of the survivors, Isabel, casts handwritten notes from the penthouse into the dead-filled streets below.

What would have made The Wanderers better?

More action..... I'm not sure how a zombie book can be boring, but this author found a way.

What do you think your next listen will be?

    Anything not by this author.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narrator did a good job. I have no complaints, except for his choice in book selections.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Wanderers?

All the pointless, boring chatter amonst the characters.

    Any additional comments?

At one point in this book, the author went on and on about Americans failing to help their own people in New Orleans. I do think all of our successes greatly out number or failures. I found myself quote annoyed by his sarcastic point of view.
