The Fellowship of the ring begins one of the timeless classics of recent past. It would be difficult to destroy this tale, even with a poor narrator. Rob Inglis does an excellent job. Would have been good to make this audio book a bit more of a production given its clasic nature.
The Sovereign series remains an excellent read.
The third book in the series has begun to take on some aspects of an author straining to fill up enough space to make a good book of it. The author has begun to bring other characters into the forefront of the narative causing some splintering and dilution of the story.
An outstanding ending to a long but excellent series. Sanderson may even be better than Jordan in his writing.
The story is fascinating and only this kept me reading. There is an exceptional amount of graphic violence, sex and foul language in the book as well, so if you dislike this "baser" side then I do not recommend this series
