It won't tell you a particular stock to buy, but it will help you understand a variety of aspect of the market and help you define your philosophy of trading. Both the introductions and the readings themselves are enlightening. Very enjoyable listening!

    This book is good introduction if you are new to stocks. Most of the book is devoted to basic concepts of trading and describing the components of the Dow. About 5 minutes of this book are devoted to stock picking strategy. The strategy in this book is for individuals who don't want to actively trade, but I'm not convinced that it will provide as good returns as a portofolio actively managed well-trained analyst, especially if you are willing to accept a little more risk.
