Of my 78 audio books, this one is among my favorites. I would even make it #1 for now :-). The concepts that supports the title of the book are explained in a very simple, organized, and orderly way. Many books of this type sometimes jump all over the place to explain a concept, and while that's OK if done in an orderly manner, the ability to get to and stay on track with a topic forces this book to the top of the heap! This book provides a good explanation of how our thoughts and "our reaction" to them create our day to day experiences. I recommend all seekers of "Self" enlightenment include this one in their library.
Narrator was a bit wordy but gave really good nuggets of info in each chapter. It's a slow listen but worked well for me as I road train to and from work.
Well yes, because my first introduction to this author was during a 1-hour leadership-type seminar that I attended remotely. I was so impressed by his presentation style...never boring!!! From his name alone I searched for audio books by him and purchased this one. Love It!!!! This author keeps your mind engaged and moving right along with the main objectives. With that said, I have begun to consider aspects of the inner workings of my mind that I would have never considered before. I also have a bit more confidence in those little quirks about my intuitive self. :-). I'm looking forward to listening to his other works.
The continuity of the information
I'm glad he read his own book. I like his voice.
I'm a lover of Quantum Physics and spiritualism (i.e. the power of intention, meditation, yoga, etc), and surprisingly, I really enjoyed this book. Russell kept the language simple and entertaining, which made the concepts very easy to understand and therefore easy to apply. I must check out your other book - "Do You"
This audio book is definately worth buying, especially if you are a novice seeaking answers about self. While I don't consider myself a novice, I have always wanted an audio book that broke the subject down in layman's terms and that's what the author does. This book can be enjoyed by people on all levels of spiritualality. I believe I read one negative comment...all I can say to that is...keep seeking and increase your understanding.
I now have 3 books by Guy Finley, which involves over 30 hours of life-giving words of wisdom. If you want to acguire a new prespective on life and your life experiences, take the time and check out any one of Guy's books. An open and Light seeking mind will not be disappointed.
Just when I thought I was alone, having no one who understood what I was experiencing on the path of enlightenment, the Light within me attracted to me the teachings of Guy Finley. I have been motivated (goaded) and energized to continue on. I enjoy staying engaged and in tuned with the logic, light, and laughter expressed by this tuly blessed soul. Guy...thanks so much for sharing!
I imagine that this book will really inspire those who have gone through a "lot" of changes/hardships and need that added support to know that they can make it. I just was not able to emotionally make a connection with the long list of unfortunate negative expeirences that Lisa has survived. It just wasn't my muse. It was difficult for me to truly focus on the positive when so much negative was revealed.
Really enjoyed this book. I have been an Edgar Caey fan since my high school days, and now at age 51, it was refresshing to have his works in audio.
I love all of Glen Harold's books, but A Chakra Meditation is my favorite. I listen to it daily, and each night and sometimes first thing in the morning. "Every time" I align my chakras just before going to bed, I have very lucid dreams, and they are in such beautiful and vibrant colors. I've never had such consistency of this type dream until listening to this audio book.
