Just why do humpback whales sing? That's the question that has marine behavioral biologist Nate Quinn and his crew poking, charting, recording, and photographing very big, wet, gray marine mammals - until the extraordinary day when a whale lifts its tail into the air to display a cryptic message spelled out in foot-high letters: Bite Me.

Jill says: "Entertaining story, as usual!"
    "Too Silly"
    Overall

The book was a little too silly for me. Just couldn't get into it.

Firefly Lane is the poignant, powerful story of two women and the friendship that becomes the mainstay of their lives. For 30 years, Tully and Kate buoy each other through life, weathering the storms of friendship: jealousy, anger, hurt, resentment. They think they've survived it all, until a single act of betrayal tears them apart...and puts their courage and friendship to the ultimate test.

    Overall

This book is great, I cried, laughed and remembered my childhood as I am about the same age as the characters in the book. If you lived through the 70's in your teens you will love this book.

    "Great book"
    Overall

I loved the book and except for it being about Vampires it wasn't as way out there as some of his work. Kept me entertained and smiling.
