"I am completely enthralled with this book."
The writing and narration of this mystery are superb. I have been an audible listener for about five years now and I consider this one of the most engaging I have heard. I anxiously await more from this amazing author.
"Brilliant!!"
This book was fraught with complex characters, clever plot twists, and a brilliant narrator. I hope this author keeps writing and this reader keeps reading!!
"Brilliant! I have to take breaks..."
from work to keep listening to this treasure. The prose is rich, the characters complex and the narrator perfect!! I dread the ending of this book. I hope Audible attains more material from this gifted author!!
"More from this author please"
This book is brilliantly written. His characters are complex, his descriptive narrative is rich and evocative of James Lee Burke. The story is engaging as well. In additon to all of this the reader is among the best in the biz. I am now hoping Mr. Clark will be turning in many more novels like Legal Limit.
"I truy enjoyed this book!"
I was engaged from the first soundbye. The author does a fine job of creating twists and turns that are entirely plausible. That doesn't happen as often as one might think in the realm of the mystery books. I know most will find this book a great escape.
"a case for the brilliance and compassion of Obama"
This audiobook read by Obama is about a journey through some challenging times. Interesting to note that this book was written in 95, Well before he even thought about running for President. His story is rich with details and vivid characters. If one listens to it (and doesn't just write a phony review to keep him from getting elected) one will find that the term elitist couldn't be further from the truth. He also does a fine job of narrating the material. Bravo!
"wince...wince"
I keep wincing as I listen to this book. The reader bothers me with her interpretation and acting skills. The book is so obvious that I smell the twists and turns before we arrive at the bend in the road.
"I love this book"
and I love the dramatic skill of the narrator. She does a marvelous job of delineating the characters and bringing scottoline's characters to life. Her skill with dialects is unmatched.
"name dropper"
I am fairly intrigued by the story, but the author's relentless dropping of names and brands that are supposed to impress is nauseating!! It is sophmoric and completely unnecessary to the plot. I would have stopped listening, but I want to reach the end. Puhleeze refrain in your next book from describing every item with a designer/ brand that is only enjoyed by the elite in this country. It diminishes your work.
"a disappointment"
I have nothing against Christian writers, however I was disappointed in this book because I felt the author was trying to convert me. This needs to be mentioned in the description.
