"Book number 2!"
I really enjoyed this one as well, I think it’s even better than the first, and I can’t wait for the third! Just as good as the first, if not better. Five stars!
"A great listen!"
The story has everything! love, magic, intelligence, humor and thrill.
I really liked this story!
Started a bit skeptical because it was so (damn) long and I usually only listen to books when I am at home knitting or whatnot (so I like them fast, good and short), but this one I could not put down once I got into it! (I even listen to it on the sub-way!)
I was a little slow in the beginning, but just wait until he begins telling his life story it's really a magic and lovely tale!
I like the main character the best, and also Bast.
I liked all the scenes from when he was traveling with his family, my favorite part of almost every story is the beginning.
..In the beginning it was all new to Kvothe, and he is just starting to learn magic and thinking. Beautifully written. There is ALOT of great scenes in this book!
You need some breaks in this book to think and digest, but I always wanted to go back <3
Still do, that's why I got the second book as soon as I finished the first!
Do yourself a favor and get this book!
"One of the the best performances I've heard!"
All the different stories and characters! This book contains a lot of different stories about the z-war, told by different people from different views and different roles in the war. It's easy to get dragged in to, and too keep listening to.
I don't remember the name of the characters, but the blind man with the cane and a death wish, and the women soldier who has to get trough the swamp after crashing the plane, is two of my favorites. I also like the other threats which came with the zombies war you really don't think about.
There are alot of different narrators in this book, and it surprised me at first. I was kind of expecting one man making a lot of voices. So this book took me by surprise, the only narrator performing the same role through whole book is the interviewer. This is one one the main reasons you should hear (and not read) this book. I'ts a 10-star performance!
The tales from World War Z.
Don't read this book, then you are missing out! I hope they make and movie out of this book.
"A epic saga!"
This is a real treat for audible listeners!
If you like greece mythology with all it's drama your are going to love this story.
It is a lovely fast-paced story with Gods, trolls, fairies, love, war and magic!
Bronson Pinchot does and FANTASTIC job narrating this story, I've never heard a narrator scream before <3 Bronson really makes a the characters and story come to life!
If you are having a hard time finding a good audible book, look no further. You just stumbled over a great story! And a great narrator!
"Funny knitting book."
Funny book, but a little extreme.
..It's probably only funny for knitters.
Easy, short listen.
If you want to listen to a book about a corny women who knit to much, or you are addicted to knitting, this is it :)
"A good story!"
No, I only need this book once, and keep going to the next one. This is lovely stories! Easy to follow, educational, funny, a little mystery and likable.
I don't really have a favorite character..
It's good, I've started to listen to the rest of the books, And I like Jesse Bernstein's voice, but sometimes he has problems with telling what the characters are feeling and doing their voices and *tones* correct... Its hard to explain in english, but he does a alright job overall.
Yes! The story is easygoing and it's easy to
It's very similar to the movie, when it comes down to the feeling of the book. So if you liked the movie you're gonna like the book(s).
"Boring"
A little action in the story would have made this a better book.
My next book is the Percy Jackson books. I like the easy story telling, which this is not..
I liked the voice of the narrator, but I didn't understand all of the dialects. (I'm from Norway, so scotch is hard)
I think you will like this book if you like stories about dukes and castles and stuff, The major part of the story is based on 1700 (if my memory is correct)
It's a
"Good listen, I liked it!"
A different twist in the zombie world, I liked it. A little hard to follow sometimes, but the voices and the stories are good.
It's worth your time and money, if you like a little "super" in your zombies ;)
The second part of the book is a 5 star, it's just a little hard to get into in the beginning.
Jay Snyder was born to tell zombie stories!
"Fast paced and good story!"
This is a good choice for a long, funny, charming, exciting and educational story about magic, siblings and Egyptian gods. The narrators where a little annoying for my taste, but I’m too old for this book..!
I loved it non the less!
This is really a good listen,! It was my first audible book and I don’t regret it for a second.
If you are looking for a book for your teens, get this one.
If you’re looking for an easy going book that will make you laugh, cry and cheer, this is it.
I enjoyed it a lot!
"Okey Zombie book"
I haven’t read a lot of zombie books so I didn’t know what to expect. I loved the voice and feeling of the narrator! The story is good and it’s a good listen, but I didn’t find it scary (but I’m not an easy scare.) There is probably better scary, zombie book out there, but if you feel like reading a day by day survival book about the world coming to and end, get this one!
