"Thought I was done with Clancy. I was wrong..."
...this book gave me a thrill just like his earlier works. Lots of action. Highly recommended!
"Interesting book!"
I liked this book a lot. I really enjoyed the information about the history of processed foods. Although I'm normally a Scott Brick fan, I have to agree with the other reviewer about his narration of this particular book.It didn't ruin the book for me, but I found it distracting.
"Informative and captivating"
Although I thought I was familiar with the story of the Oklahoma City bombing, I now realize that I actually knew very few of the details of this awful event. I thought the naration was very good and appreciated that the story didn't get bogged down with overly detailed facts/information that might not work well in an audio book.
Listening to it was time well spent.
"this came very close to home..."
This book is a classic when read by this narrator. I live in this area and actually know people that knew this family, but even without this personal element factored in, I think this is a great story.
"Loved this book!"
I've listened to this several times. Enjoyable and instuctive. Should be required reading for all business owners :)
"If you like classic literature..."
...it doesn't get any better than this .George Elliot was clearly a genius. I would feel embarrassed to pretend to write any review of this, other than I enjoyed it immensely!
"Absolutely outstanding!"
This is a "gem" of an audio book. What surprised me about it was the quality of writing/beautiful prose...at least in my humble opinion.
"Everything is disturbing about this book..."
...the story, the authors point of view and behavior,(the previous reviews :) -- and yet, I still listened to the entire book and found it interesting.
"One of my absolute favorite audio books"
I have listened to hundreds of audio books in the last 20 yrs. I owned a copy of this book long ago on cassette tape and wore it out. Koontz doesn't get better than this. The narration is perfect for this work.
