This doesn't seem like the same writer that wrote the amazing story of Kiera and Kellan. I was extremely disappointed. Its as if she found it necessary to drink the vampire koolaid long after the appeal dissolved.
I can't be sure at this point.
Reader was okay
Just disappointed, I couldnt even finish it.
Absolutely, I LOVE the crossfire series and I'm please that Sylvia got the story back on track.
Umm, I'm going to say only the other books in the series compare. They are so well written and easy to get caught up in.
I LOVED!!! the scene when Eva confronts Gideon at the Penthouse after he meets with his stepdad. I really needed Gideon to be a normal guy for a moment. Eva is frustrating and I was glad to see another side of him.
I can only say that I was please with it. Entwined with you was a little disappointing, and I was really annoyed to know there were two more books to follow. I almost gave up, but i'm glad I stuck it out.
I loved how Ansel never wavered in his decision to be with Mia. He knew he wanted her and he followed through. Aside from being crazy hot and desirable, we ladies love to be wanted.
I thought Mia was pretty cool. She took a chance and I can appreciate that. Not knowing the outcome or if he would be different once they got to Paris she stuck it out.
I thought the narrator did an excellent job with the french accent.
I didnt listen in one sitting, but I cam back for more. Another great romance from Christina Lauren.
I'm really at my personal limit of tolerance with fragile gorgeous malnourished girls. The mousy quiet chicks who are hard to read, but bandits in the bedroom. I haven't read or listened to the follow up book, but its only because I'm on the fence. The story is appealing; I can connect personally with the loss and defeat.
I liked Hayden, he seems like a cool guy that could believably have anyone he wants and that made him somewhat realistic.
Accurate, Fitting and Believable
I couldn't, unless Tenley came became even a ounce stronger in character as she is in handle the tragedy, it might work.
Honest, Loving & Sexxxy
Because of Saint's behavior and unwillingness to commit, it reminded me of Dublin Street. Otherwise, this book held its own amongst the competition.
I liked that the emotions were expressed properly. After all thats how we readers connect.
What moved me the most is when Nash had the opportunity to tell his side about what took place in the past. I sympathized with Saint on being outcasted and talk about. It never really matters whether or not people name you directly it still hurts. It meant a lot for him to tell her the truth.
Good book overall. This is the first book from this author that I listened to.
Absolutely, the tools in this book have completely changed my life. Not even necessarily where my weight is concerned. They have great tools to help you in other areas of your life that affect your weight. I will need the support so I will definitely listen again.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, this cvan be applied to so many of life's challenges.
No Characters, just an incredible journey.
I think the bit on breaking the cycle of shame. I actually cried thinking of the way I was treating myself. I was my own bully.
Incredible book that ALL women should read or listen to. Its very empowering.
I would recommend this book for one huge reason. Women should be empowered and Nate gave Olivia a necessary confidence. He found her irresistible and he showed her. Aside from that the story was okay, I really loved Dublin Street.
I think the most memorable for me was the evolution of their love. I found it a little corny but mostly refreshing. I mean what guy would turn down sex?
I thought the performance was okay. I thought the parts of Olivia were great. There was a sincerely delivery on the emotion. He scottish accent could use a little work.
I thought there were some funny bits. I can't speak for all women, but I've been very unlucky in love. Romance and chick lit cause me to feel a longing. With the number of books I've read and audiobooks I've listened to, its sort of become and education.
This was not the best performance but, I love the book. I actually purchased the book a couple years ago. I was curious if the book would translate the same through audiobook.
I really love the conflict of the story. I don't love that the Emily was still so indecisive. I think there is a great deal of truth in the emotional conflict we experience.
Little voice inflections here and there, but I think it reads much better through an actual book. I have listened to audiobooks that put you right in the thick of the moment. This narrator didnt do it for me.
The Ulitmate Emotional Tug of War
I have only had the pleasure of experiencing this series through audiobook. I can't say that I would change that, the narrator is crazy good.
Well I've been team Gideon all the way... even when he cooled things off in "Reflected in You". I think he has been overall solid once he decided that Eva was the one. I am not pleased that he is so involved with Corrine. Whether he used her or not, he put himself in a bad position.
I really loved the sexxxy club scene. Gideon really lost himself in the moment and thats what I've been waiting for. The dominate types are so methodical most of the time.
Well I'm very disappointed that this story is getting extended. There is too much room for error and boring filler. I do have faith that Sylvia can do us proud, but I don't like being surprised. I'm not too pleased with this whiney brat side of Eva in this book. First you couldn't live without Gideon, and now you're not sure if you're ready for forever? Aside from that Eva's relationship with Carey is getting creepy and childish. All that said I'm still in for the long haul.
Reckless is a terrific ending to the trilogy. So much action and intensity... Great listening experience. Can't really rank.
I loved how we got to delve deeper in the the rockstar life that Kellan lives. Kiera was a strong and supportive woman through it all. I think the story got a bit mundane at certain point, but I think that was the writer being thorough.
My favorite scene was a bit that I don't want to ruin for other reader.
Love conquers the evil's of fame.
