"Thought provoking"
Yes, but not sure this is one that I wish I had bought in paperback and audio and still may. Christine has some very thought provoking things in this book that if you had it in print you could pause for a few minutes after you read it and let it soak in. I like listening to it too though because I have more time to listen than I do to sit and read, but this one demands you not to multitask quite as much as some other books allow.
This is a compelling book... not a story.
She actually reads the way Christine would. I am glad that I saw Christine at Women of Faith and the Joyce Meyer women's conference this year before reading (listening to) her book. It did help me appreciate the writing more and Tess did a great job injection Christine's emotion for the subject matter into her reading.
"Entertaining"
Yes, it is an uplifting and enjoyable book, one that you could listen to multiple times and still laugh with Anita.
Not a character reading... More of a stand up act by Anita.
If you haven't seen Anita perform then you would miss the emotion she adds with her voice. If you have seen her, then her writing is good enough that you can get what she is writing and perhaps still hear her enthusiasm.
I did laugh out loud a few times when she touched on things that I have experienced with humor.
Good book. I like it when I am driving. You will miss some things, but will hear them the next time you tune it up... makes the time go fast.
"Memorable Read"
I still love printed books and writing in the margins and underlining things, but this book is one that is great to walk or drive with and listen to over and over again, always gaining something new from it each time I listen to it.
Beth has such a great admiration and love for God and it shows in how she brings the books and the people of the Bible to light in her teachings and writings. I feel like I know Christ and the Apostle Paul so much better after listing to this book.
This is not really an appropriate question for this book as she isn't reading in character parts, but she does read similar to the way Beth would have presented her writing, with emotion and thoughtfulness.
This is a great read for those wanting to understand more about the life of Paul and his passion for spreading the Gospel and living for Christ. You can know a little or a lot about the Bible already, either way you will gain from this book.
"Wow, Do You Think I'm Beautiful is a worthy read"
Yes, it touches the heart and heals emotions
There were so many, but the dance and the testimony of her sister's death are the first two that come to mind.

God does see us and loves us. We forget that sometimes because we forget to look for him.
Thank you Angela for this book.
"Refreshing and Rewarding Reading"
Liz is a great communicator and reader, I loved knowing it was her own voice reading the book.
Liz has done her homework and her writing was very insightful.
I believe her comments regarding the restoration of relationship between Leah and Rachel. Jealousy can tear apart so many families over such trivial things, it is nice to realize that those relationships can be resolved. Of course Rachel's desires had to be fulfilled before mending could occur!
Timeless. I understand the focus of the book is to show us how God used totally human people, just like us, to do His good works for and through. So that we can see how we can be close to God and used for His work. Technology has changed, but people and our emotions, desires and fears are the same now as they were then.
Great book, wish I had it both in hard copy and audible... but will listen to it again to make sure I didn't miss anything as my mind was distracted by my eyes :)
"A Must Read"
Yes, very moving book and I know that I miss pieces when listening because my attention may be drawn away. I believe that a person would benefit from more than one time through this book.
The book of Revelation. The trials that those people endured had to seem to them like they were living in the end times.
She brings a personality to each character in the book with the influx of emotion and diction in her voice.
So many. But the ending when Betsy's visions are realized by her sister.
"Share The Shack"
Yes, reading and or listening I think that a persons mind skips or misses messages. This is such a rewarding message of healing and awakening that I will take the time to listen to it again.
Mack being called to forgive and the struggle the author shows there.
I have not yet listened to other offerings from Roger Mueller
Yes, but I chose times where I could give my undivided attention and not fall asleep by becoming to relaxed...so I listened as I worked out each day. My workout time went by way to fast most days.
Thank you for this story. So many emotions are shared in its pages and the messages can fit into almost any trial that we may go through.
