This was a very interesting book and, in my opinion, a good reference. Let's face it: whether we agree with them or not, so-called neoliberal ideas have played a very important role in the way the US, the UK and, more generally, the whole of the world has been governed in the past 30-odd years. This is a compelling and well-researched account of their origins and how they came to assume such importance. If the kindle companion becomes available, I would certainly buy that to use as a reference, as there are certain aspects I would be interested in exploring further.
Awful reader. As another reviewer noted, his systematic mispronounciations of what I would have thought were standard economic terms was very irritating. He kept saying Key-nesian economics instead of the standard Kay-nsian (the man's name is prounounced Kay-ns, after all!).
