It's smack right in the middle of all I've listened to so far.
It was original, very different and interesting. Since I had seen the movie I was interested in seeing how close the movie and story were. Miles apart! Movie nothing like the story it is based on.
He made the pages breathe and come to life. A little corny, but a good representation of the area.
I wasn't expecting Ben to be such a jerk. When his wife started aging he lost all interest in her. Being older was the very thing that in the beginning drew her to him.
The story and the narration are enjoyable and since it is short and inexpensive you could do worse.
Yes, I would recommend this audiobook to a friend. It is a story with a considerable number of twists and turns to make it enjoyable to listen to all the way to the end.
George Amberson. The story is told with him as the center support to everything. He was the kind of person you would hope you would be given the situations he was placed in throughout the story.
All of the dance scenes and the time spent with the boys and girls at the high school. I truly wish that the youth of today was more like back then.
Time is like a big machine with big jagged teeth.
I really enjoyed the narration by Craig Wasson. I would hope that everyone listening to this Stephen King novel recognized the impersonations Mr. Wasson was using to create some of the characters. I at least noticed "John Wayne" and Jimmy Stewart" as a couple of them.
Enjoyed it thoroughly
Dusty. A good man all around that kept his eyes open to things that didn't add up. He really had a big heart for friends and family.
Are you sure you want someone to get inside your head?
Dean Koontz really knows how to write a good thriller. Usually he writes them extremely well all the way through, but this one he seemed to run out of steam at the end. It was the ending of this story that kept it from getting a five star rating. He isn't, by any means, the only author that can damage a great story by making it come to an abrupt ending. So as to not ruin this one by writing something that might be a spoiler I leave it without saying anymore. I continue to listen to and read as well Dean Koontz novels on a regular basis. He doesn’t disappoint me very often.
