Let me begin by saying I am a huge Christine Feehan fan and I look forward to every new release. This one did not live up to what I have grown to expect from Mrs. Feehan. The characters were not developed and their relationship occurred too fast. I love a great sex scene, but I also enjoy a storyline and character development. I grew tried of the repeated sex scenes and found myself fast forwarding to try and find the story. I finally gave up and for the first time since I started listening to Christine Feehan's books, I did not finish it. I'm extremely disappointed.

Wow!!! I Love this series. The new narrator took a little while to get use too, but she wasn't too bad and the story was so good I forgot about the few words she pronounced differnttly or the lack of accent for Dimitri. I'm not an avid reader. I prefer to listen, but I'm so tempted to go buy the third book. Audible please get Shadow Kiss soon.

I couldn't stop listening. This is not your normal Young Adult Novel and I'm no where near a young adult. I am so glad I downloaded this book. It was a refreshing surprise. I couldn't remove my headphones and I immediately went to download the second book.

I was kind of disappointed by this book. The first issue was the narration. It was hard to listen to the accents and the harsh tones of the male characters. The story line was pretty good, but the childish rhyming spells became really annoying as the story went along. It wasn't the best in the dark series, but was adequate. I will definitely buy the book if the same narrators are used again.

I had high hopes for this book as it is the first in a series and I'm dying to be hooked on new series, but this book feel real short. I found the story was lacking depth and the vocie of the narrator did little to bring to life a slow, dull story. I was expecting more.

Part one of this book was pretty good. Part two paid too much attention to sex and not enough attention to the storyline. I had to fast forward through most of the second part. The only reason I kept listening was to see the conclusion of the plot that was set forth in part one, but was sadly disappointed when the book ended without resolving any of the plot issues.
