FBI Special agent Brad Raines is facing his toughest case yet. A Denver serial killer has killed four beautiful young women, leaving a bridal veil at each crime scene, and he's picking up his pace. Unable to crack the case, Raines appeals for help from a most unusual source: residents of the Center for Wellbeing and Intelligence, a private psychiatric institution for mentally ill individuals whose are extraordinarily gifted.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I don't know who would enjoy this book. All I know is that I didn't. It is the first book in all my years with Audible that I was forced to quit listening.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I think I would return to other kind of books, a little more thrilling and less boring.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of John Glover?

I don't think that it is the narrator the problem, the problem is the book, it is confusing and boring.

What character would you cut from The Bride Collector?

I would cut all the crazy people that are at the institute. They are soooooo annoying!!!!

    Any additional comments?

don't waste your money or your credits on this one, find another thriller worth of the word (because this book sure isn't worthy of being called a thriller!!!)

In modern-day England, witches live alongside humans: White witches, who are good; Black witches, who are evil; and 16-year-old Nathan, who is both. Nathan's father is the world's most powerful and cruel Black witch, and his mother is dead. He is hunted from all sides. Trapped in a cage, beaten and handcuffed, Nathan must escape before his seventeenth birthday, at which point he will receive three gifts from his father and come into his own as a witch - or else he will die. But how can Nathan find his father when his every action is tracked, when there is no one safe to trust?

What disappointed you about Half Bad?

It bought that the store was interesting. However, between the really slow pace of the book and the accent of the reader (very difficult to understand) I couldn't go farther than chapter two.
