Life is certainly full of surprises. First my husband dumps me for a D-cup Hooters waitress. Second, I buy a tumbledown 1920s Tudor with the oddest (and most ironic) living room arch. Yup, it's heart-shaped. Then, just as I'm starting to adjust, my perky new neighbor comes calling with an incredible announcement. My home is one of four houses built by the original members of the Woodlawn Avenue Bridge Club. I'm now the "Queen of Hearts"!

An inspirational book all around. A motivational book from beginning to end. To all the woman who thought about life after divorce, well, this is it. A positive look at taking a step in the right direction to make a move that benefits herself in her life. Ellie (main character) learns alot after divorce, including how to enjoy new friendships (the red hat ladies), new hobbies, a self indulged new life, and a few chuckling disasterous dates. Definitely worth the one credit I used for this purchase, and would of definitely been worth the price of the book also. I didn't want to hear it end.

  • The Smart Money: How the World's Best Sports Bettors Beat the Bookies Out of Millions

In The Smart Money, Michael Konik takes listeners behind the veil of secrecy shrouding the most successful sports gambling operation in America, to its innermost sanctum. He reveals how they, and he, got rich by beating the Vegas lines and, ultimately, the multi-million-dollar offshore betting circuit. He details the perks and perils of a lifestyle in which staking inordinate sums of money on the outcome of a game, sometimes as much as $1 million on a single event, is a normal part of doing business.

An intriguing story that brings you behind the curtains on how professional sport betters think and react. This is not a "teaching" manual, more of an insider look of sports betting and what comes with it and the after-effect. A true attention grabber, I recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a book that is focused on sports betting in the casinos and off-shore circuits and comes with a story that you can follow. Well worth it!!!!!!!

Southern belle BeBe Loudermilk has lost all her worldly possessions, thanks to a brief but disastrous relationship with the gorgeous Reddy, an "investment counselor" who turns out to be a con man. All that's left is a ramshackle 1950s motel on Tybee Island, an eccentric beach town that calls itself a drinking village with a fishing problem.

This audio book was entertaining and enjoyable. The narrator is very good, she kept the characters separate and it was easy to distinguish between them, she spoke clearly. The story held my interest from beginning to end and it was a well structured story. This was a very adverturous story and I didn't want it to end. Well worth the one credit I used for it.
