Captivating, Mysterious, Cliffhanger
At the end when Python suspects Mason to be his brother due to the birth mark on his neck that they both share.
Yes, I love all of their voices, it add's a voice to the face created in the listener's mind.
yes, I didn't want to stop listening
I can't wait to hear the follow up to this story.
excellent listen! you don't want to miss out on this one. I love how the characters come together from different backgrounds and develop into loving relationships I will be downloading the next install.
To write about something so segregated is something to experience. Although the writer was white and will never experience what the black characters went through she did a good job putting some of the truth together. The book is better than the movie. .
I would give 5 stars overall but I rated it at 4 only because the books should be numbered in order according to the story. The books are all great and kept me entertained. hope the author brings out some new material soon.
exciting follow up to the first book in the series I know the next one will be just as good . Tamia was a little dumb in some instances but managed to come out on top.
loved the story overall, who knew an ex porn star would end up in so much trouble with a jealous sister?? can't wait to listen to the next series!
There are a lot of moving parts in this story and it's enough to keep you listening. zakiya is a bit ditzy but learns to watch her man in the end.
Good well rounded story about every day life. The characters are realistic. The narration could have been better but it was still good.
This was the 2nd book I've listen to from this author, the story rambled on and on given the fact that it's 15 hours I guess it had to. The story was repetitive on some parts but overall it kept you guessing.
loved the story and narrator both were on point, get this audio book you won't be disappointed
No, I think 1 time was enough. After listening to the way it ended had me questioning where to place the characters and how they matched in the end.
Yes, it definitely kept me on edge, I didn't know if Alice was dead or alive.
I liked hearing the different voices together and how they humanized the characters in my mind.
It made me sad but happy that Alice and Jenna found peace at the end and that the story was actually told.
