Yes, a matter of fact, after I listened, I had to own a copy (and I bought the cookbook too).
The most memorable moment was when the writer returned from America (20 lbs overweight) and her father said she looked like a sack of potatoes.
The main character
The love of food... that it's ok to enjoy and celebrate natural foods. You can strike a harmony with your food intake and daily activity level that is nearly effortless and sustainable for a lifetime.
I just love the french language and I can appreciate how it's sprinkled into this book.
Well, it is the title of course, Eat, Pray, Love. Eat in Italy, Pray in India and Love in Indonesia.
Elizabeth herself, the writer.
Yes, it made me laugh out loud. There were serious parts too which were concerning but overall, it left me feeling good.
I highly recommend this book. It's especially relevant to women who've been through a tough time, sought comfort and possibly God. You do not have to be religious to enjoy.
I would absolutely recommend this book to a friend (as it was recommended to me by several friends and family members). When you listen to it, it changes your mood instantly to light and humorous.
I laughed out loud about the 'peter pie' incident. There were several laugh out loud parts to this story but that was the most memorable!
I liked the way the narrators changed based on the character. They did an excellent job with the southern, Mississippi dialect!
Well, they did make a film about this book so I'd say, it's that good!
It's a must-have. I'll definitely listen to it again, just for the fun of it!
I listened to this book non-stop (at every opportunity) until it was done. I was so fascinated! The story was great, the history was great, the facts were interesting. It's a motivational book and appropriate for all readers, especially those with an interest in running.
