In The Signature of All Things, Elizabeth Gilbert returns to fiction, inserting her inimitable voice into an enthralling story of love, adventure and discovery. Spanning much of the 18th and 19th centuries, the novel follows the fortunes of the extraordinary Whittaker family as led by the enterprising Henry Whittaker - a poor-born Englishman who makes a great fortune in the South American quinine trade, eventually becoming the richest man in Philadelphia.

What did you like best about The Signature of All Things? What did you like least?

its a story that you might at parts find interesting

What could Elizabeth Gilbert have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

make it shorter with a lil more action.

Could you see The Signature of All Things being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

a boring movie about a virgin, may be

    Any additional comments?

21 hours about a virgin, come on!.... I know may be that is the whole spice about it, but it is indeed boring and VERY long :( It has some parts that are OK, but all this botany she talks about is very boring. It looked like the main character all her life sat at home and studied botany and mosses, and only when she became 50 she started to discover life. It's a story about old botanist with a lot of issues in the head. Pretty mellow book..

In How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not? best-selling author Robert Shemin reveals for the first time the inner-circle secrets of the mega-wealthy. Have you ever wondered why some people attract wealth while others stay financially trapped and in debt? The key is wealth-friendly, upside-down thinking. Stick with all the old moneymaking rules and stay broke. Break them and get rich. This is the audiobook that shows you how.

Would you listen to How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not? again? Why?

Yes, I will. It uses a very easy language to deliver important message. Some individuals may not agree with one or another way that the writer represents the material, but you have to read between the lines and beyond words in order to grasp full capacity of the message.

What other book might you compare How Come That Idiot's Rich and I'm Not? to and why?

    The Magic of Thinking Big

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I can not say that I had an extreme reaction. I read similar books a lot. This book made me laugh a little because of the way the writer expresses himself.

    Any additional comments?

I would recommend this book to people. But I want to make a point that you should read between the lines.
