She could save the world - or destroy it. Sixteen-year-old Evangeline 'Evie' Greene leads a charmed life, until she begins experiencing horrifying hallucinations. When an apocalyptic event decimates her Louisiana hometown, Evie realizes her hallucinations were actually visions of the future - and they're still happening. Would you consider the audio edition of Poison Princess to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print book but I think the audio would be better b/c of the accents and french words.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Poison Princess?

    The ending :*

    Which scene was your favorite?

So many scenes I loved. I would have to say that Jackson talking are my favorites :)

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

When it appears the world has ended and you find your new beginning, how will you fair?

    Any additional comments?

This story was AMAZING! I am a new Kresley Cole fan and I am HOOKED!

After his unexpected journey into the lands of the fey, Ethan Chase just wants to get back to normal. Well, as "normal" as you can be when you see faeries every day of your life. Suddenly the former loner with the bad reputation has someone to try for - his girlfriend, Kenzie. Never mind that he's forbidden to see her again. But when your name is Ethan Chase and your sister is one of the most powerful faeries in the Nevernever, "normal" simply isn't to be.

West Hall, Vermont, has always been a town of strange disappearances and old legends. The most mysterious is that of Sara Harrison Shea, who, in 1908, was found dead in the field behind her house just months after the tragic death of her daughter, Gertie. Now, in present day, 19-year-old Ruthie lives in Sara's farmhouse with her mother, Alice, and her younger sister, Fawn. Alice has always insisted that they live off the grid, a decision that suddenly proves perilous when Ruthie wakes up one morning to find that Alice has vanished without a trace. Searching for clues, she is startled to find a copy of Sara Harrison Shea's diary....

How have I not read this book until now? OMG I was looking for a book around Halloween and came across this one. I thought it sounded interesting despite it having a 3.5 STAR review (I do not pay attention to reviews honestly). I am a book reviewer so I know that sounds weird but I would rather form my own opinion. There are only a few people who I really listen to as far as reviews go.

This book blew me away. I love how it wraps the past with the present and even the future. A nice ghost/horror story that brings several families together in ways that no one would ever dream of being bonded. I am so afraid of giving away any spoilers because with this book, it would be so easy! Living so close to the Devil's Hand, you can only imagine the horrors that can go along with that. OR CAN YOU? Nope you can't. Because just when you think you can, BAM something else happens. It is just so amazing. It really is. This author, Jennifer McMahon has just escalated up my OMG I LOVE THIS AUTHOR list! I must reach out to her and tell her how much I love this book!!!!

If you scare easy, might want to keep the lights on :)

If you think ghosts are only responsible for hauntings, think again. The Demonologist reveals the grave religious process behind supernatural events and how it can happen to you. Used as a text in seminaries and classrooms, this is one book you can't put down. For over five decades, Ed and Loraine Warren have been considered America's foremost experts on demonology and exorcism. With over 3,000 investigations to their credit, they reveal what actually breaks the peace in haunted houses. Don't miss the Warrens in the new blockbuster movie The Conjuring.

    Story

I admit, I was not sure what to expect going into this book. I was afraid it was going to be full of monotone, boring stated facts. IT WAS SO TOTALLY NOT!

Ed and Lorraine Warren are amazing. R.I.P. Ed Warren. I had no idea the true impact that the Warren's have had on this earth until I listened to this book. The amount of knowledge and spiritual power that both Ed and Lorraine hold is beyond comprehension. The danger and peril they have put themselves in time and time again to help others is the most selfless and devout thing another human could ever do for someone. When I found out that Ed left the mortal world in 2006, I actually wept. Tears of sadness for his amazing wife Lorraine, his family and all the lives he has touched and could have touched with the amazing power he has in his beliefs and knowledge. Ed Warren and his wife Lorraine are truly touched by God himself. They are not "men of cloth" as Ed likes to put it. I think they are something even more specialized.

I hope and pray that anyone that was blessed enough to be helped by this amazing duo has carried on the ways of the Warren's and shared in their amazing Glory. Prior to reading this book, I admit that I thought I knew a lot. After finishing this book, I realize that Ed and Lorraine Warren have taught me A LOT in the few hours I spent listening to them than I have learned the whole 41 years I have been on this earth. For this, I say "Thank you Ed and Lorraine". Someday when you two are reunited in Heaven, I hope to be able to say Thank you in Person in the Heavenly plane. I only wish I could have met you on earth.

Mena has it all. The perfect husband, money, a gorgeous house and everything she could ever want. When she finds out her "perfect husband" is perfectly cheating, she does not hold back. She lets him have it and leaves. Little does she know that life as she knows it is about to change in more than the way she thinks. Cheating husband? That is the least of her worries. Meeting a drop dead amazing Vampire and finding out she is about to meet the lasted Alpha Werewolf are just a few of the newest events in her life. Oh and being human? Trivial! I am so excited to see where this series goes! Another MAJOR hit for KS Haigwood!

OK I am not sure if a book has ever had me on such an emotional roller coaster. I was so literally mad at points I almost stopped reading! I could not believe how these characters were acting but yet also understood totally! Author Gayle Forman is totally brilliant in so many ways that I cannot even begin to express how I feel about her writing. This book is by far the best book I have read in a long time emotional wise. I do not, as a rule, read "real life books". I get enough real life every single day. I try to stick with "that could never happen in a million years kind of books". I like to escape from life, not relive it when I read. HOWEVER...I loved the first book and there was NO WAY I could pass up finding out how this story played out. I AM SO GLAD I kept going. WELL DONE GAYLE WELL DONE!

I really enjoyed this book. The ending was a HUGE cliffhanger which i have grown to live with (not that I love it but live with it) but expect it. I am SERIOUSLY looking forward to the next book. I am so loving these dystopian books. Author James Dashner has a BRILLIANT imagination. This book for some reason reminded me of the classic Lord of the Flies even though I don't really think it had ANYTHING to do with it but still that book popped into my mind. SO VERY WELL DONE JAMES!!!!!
