The Thorn Birds is a robust, romantic saga of a singular family, the Clearys. It begins in the early part of the 20th century, when Paddy Cleary moves his wife, Fiona, and their 7 children to Drogheda, the vast Australian sheep station owned by his autocratic and childless older sister. It ends more than half a century later, when the only survivor of the third generation, the brilliant actress Justine O'Neill, embarks on a course of life and love halfway around the world from her roots.

I have loved this book from childhood and have reread it many times. I have also seen the movie many times. I have never been so disappointed in hearing an audio book before. I was constantly irritated by the mispronunciation of places, characters, and every day items. I doubt that I would ever get any thing else narrated by this person.

Tana French's debut, In the Woods, hit the New York Times best-seller list and drew rave reviews from the Times (London) and Booklist. Picking up six months later, this riveting sequel finds Detective Cassie Maddox still scarred by her last case. When her boyfriend calls her to a chilling murder scene, Cassie is forced to face her inner demons. A young woman has been found stabbed to death outside Dublin, and the victim looks just like Cassie.

Out of the three books she has done, I love this one the best. Heather O'neill brought it to life beautifully. The story is entertaining and keeps you interested. The only negative thing I can say is that Tana French takes too long between books. I could read a new one at least every week.

All the stories in this collection from Stephen King are related to the Vietnam War. King fans will recognize echoes of The Dark Tower series in the collection's first story, "Low Men in Yellow Coats." As the characters develop over the next four stories, King's version of the Vietnam War becomes one of his most frightening tales ever.

I only got halfway through the book reading it when it came out. I was just to bored to finish. However, I love audio books and have found some that work as audio but I would not want to read. William Hurt's reading had to be the worst reading I have ever heard. He sounds bored to death or stoned alternately. Easy to sleep by if thats what you are looking for.

Unlock a new level of fear. It is well known among law enforcement personnel that murderers can be categorized on a scale of 25 levels of evil, from the naive opportunists starting out at Level 1 to the organized, premeditated torture-murderers who inhabit Level 25. What almost no one knows is that a new category of killer is in the process of being defined. Only one man belongs to this group. His targets: Anyone. His methods: Unlimited. His alias: Sqweegel. His classification: Level 26.

This new book experience was awesome. I loved the narrator. I loved the book and logging in to the 26 community to watch the video. I really like the community. The contests, the fun people. Anthony Zuiker is to be commended for his new innovation. Try the LEVEL 26 experience. You won't regret it.
