She is so funny and articulate. I highly recommend this book. The last part about women and motherhood were a little too much (I'm a man) but overall one of the funniest books I've ever listened to. Thank you Tina for making my long commute less of a hassle for two days.
An excellent book and tribute to the brave souls of the RAF who fought against overwhelming odds.
Kind of disjointed. I really enjoyed one story and the person who narrates it. ... and that story is hilarious. Truly funny. The dialogue written for the Hawaii story is utterly irritating. The main character's narration sounds like a cross between Bob Marley and Jar Jar Binks. Anyway, overall mildly entertaining.
A boring rehash of nuclear testing history and the Cold War. Very disappointing. I guess not much goes on at Area 51 after all.
This book really touched me. I highly recommend it.The narrator is excellent also.It should be listed as one of the Audible Essentials.
This is a great book; and the narrator, Donna Tartt, is really great. She has and essay at the end about the book. Be sure to listen to it.
I was a big fan, but this book is really terrible. I didn't laugh once. Very disappointing... and creepy too.
I didn't know this was a "vampire" book. If I had known, I wouldn't have bought it. That said, I was totally engrossed about a third of the way through. Not very happy about the ending... but a really good listen.
Not really into sci fi, but this book got me hooked on his series. Can wait until the next installment comes out!
To IPod users...beware that this title is only available in the lower formats. I found the audio to be absolutely terrible. It was very scratcty, irratating, and distracting.
The story is good, but I didn't enjoy it because of the audio. Although I'm a fan of Forster, I don't recommend this audiobook.
Listen to "A Passage to India" instead. Great sound and an exceptional narrator. Also, it's Forster's greatest work.
