successful tie in to the rest of the series. it does well as its own series and as a prequel to the 'mortal instruments' series
the mortal instruments series - well because its a tie in
I LOVE Ed Westwick's voice. It takes you away! outstanding performance, accent and character differentiation. Heather did a great job too!
yes!! if i had the time, i would.
I'm on fire!
I believe it to be in a league all of its own. The whole series that is. I believe it to be more than just a love story. It makes a very large political statement.
Katniss' realization when she wakes up at the end.....
I hate spoilers in reviews, so I will not spell it out.
It made me think. It impresses me that it is being used in collegiate level literature classes for analysis.
Its about time!
the fact that this book came out. I remember reading the original 6 volume "Last Vampire" series when I was much younger and re-read them many times. I always wondered what happened after that story ended. Now we know. Apparently there is a "Thirst 4", but it is not out on audiobook. Wish it was.
Brought my old friends (characters that I read long ago) to life for the first time for me.
Please get Thirst 4 in audio
The expansion into the background of the characters in the first book.
Love them all.
I have listened to all of all of Justine Eyre's narrations of Lauren Kate's series. Excellent narrator, good characters, great voices.
The imagery of trying to connect the prequel series to the Mortal Instruments Series.
honestly - all of it. I love the new characters, the origins story, the London setting.
Great narrator! I would listen to more of her narrations.
Yes, and I almost did except for that pesky thing called a job!
Give me more!
I can't divulge my favorite moments without spoilers. Personally, I hate reading reviews with spoilers. Cliche - but the best part is the end when the final decisions are made.
All were great. Kate is a great narrator. The characters were delineated, clear and unique.
The film is already in production and is due to come out summer 2013.
Its about time that Meyer breaks out of her Twilight mold.
Yes; its beautifully written and eerily addictive.
the continual draw to find out the 'who-dun-it' followed by the incredible twist at the end.
I have not, but all 4 narrators were very good.
"Catching the Kinnakee Kansas killer"
I have read the rest of Flynn's books, and they are awesome as well.
Hearing tales from within the 'Fallen' series from other characters point of view. I love this. i wish more of these franchise serious world be adventurous like this.
Looking behind the glass at the other fallen angels relationships
Spoiler.... Watching Luce get a gift from her friends that was supposed to be from Daniel. It was like being in on a joke.
Yes, and I did as it was short and I listen at 3x.
fast, gritty, exciting
her realization of "who dun it".
i have not won, but i would like to. she is known for reading erotica
yes, yes i did
this book is not for the feint of heart. i does have a mountain of foul language and shocking scenes but if you can take the gritty nature of the book, its a fast paced, gritty read that keeps you guessing. if you look up christa foust, her history is interesting and made me buy the book in the first place. i did not regret it, in fact, iv'd downloaded the rest of her books.
i love the fact that this book deals with a very edgy topy. something that is very taboo mixed with a crime novel and a who-dun-it with a twist.
the visions of the s&m club that the main character sees during her investigation. she describes something that 99% of the readers would never experience in their lives.
the climactic conclusion
yes, and i almost did - work got in the way.
not for the faint of heart or easily shocked. if you can handle it or have listened to christa's other books - its a great listen.
coming of age
currently, nothing that i have read. its a straight up western story telling the coming of age of a small boy.
i have not listened to grover before
i did not. there were no surprises. just a good wholesome tale.
had to read this for college american literature class
