"Hmmm, let me think...."
Which would I believe more, an argument based on actual transcripts (we all know those nasty transcriptionists lie about everything) from actual senate and/or house hearings, or news clippings and movies starring Robert De Niro, which we KNOW always tell the truth? What do you think? Now remember, I said THINK not FEEL. It's hard to realize that all you've heard throughout the years has been lies, but once you do, aaahhh what bliss! If you're going to argue that what's written is untrue, at least provide a little bit of factual material to support your claim, or just shut up!
"Didn't want to stop listening"
I bought the unabridged version of the book and am so glad I did. Michael's life story is a fascinating one, and as a former hitchhiker I really enjoyed hearing about those adventures! I only wish he'd come out with a sequel giving even more depth to his insight into the many political figures he's met. Good reader, great story, with some very surprising twists. And you don't have to be a conservative to enjoy it!
"loved this book!"
From start to finish this book was great fun to listen to. It's funny at times, often scary, and usually weird, but NEVER boring! Good reader too, he did well with the different voices. I'll listen to this one again I'm sure!
"WOW!"
I've listened to this book three times and just writing about it now still gives me chills. I have to warn you, you'll be late for work if you listen to this during your commute, as you'll find yourself sitting your car in the office parking lot, not wanting to turn it off! I listen to lots of audio books and this is in the top 2 or 3 I've ever heard.
"Again and Again!"
My daughter and I have listened to this book in its entirety twice on different trips. It's now becoming a tradition and we still laugh lots with each listen. Very VERY funny!
