Theron - Dark haired, duty bound and deceptively deadly. He's the leader of the Argonauts, an elite group of guardians that defends the immortal realm from threats of the Underworld. From the moment he walked into the club, Casey knew this guy was different. Men like that just didn't exist in real life - silky shoulder-length hair, chest impossibly broad, and a predatory manner that just screamed dark and dangerous. He was looking for something. Her. She was the one. She had the mark. Casey had to die so his kind could live, and it was Theron's duty to bring her in. But even as a 200-year-old descendent of Hercules, he wasn't strong enough to resist....

Would you try another book from Elisabeth Naughton and/or Elizabeth Wiley?

I have read all of Naughton's books it is a great series but after the first book I quit listening due to the narrator. I would give audible a miss on this one and just read the books...

As the twin to Acheron, Styxx hasn’t always been on his brother's side. They've spent more centuries going at each other's throats than protecting their backs. Now Styxx has a chance to prove his loyalty to his brother, but only if he's willing to trade his life and future for Acheron's.

What would have made Wolf at the Door better?

A plot this book has no real story line. The characters were developed but it matters little with no plot.

What could Christine Warren have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Write a book with an actual story that makes you interested these books are so out of order that some characters are married that were single in the book before. Also the ending in every story is so fast with no idea what really happened to the characters. I fail to understand the allure of this series I wish I had back my money and time for these books.

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator is one of the worse I have ever listened to as her voices tend to annoy me and take me out of the storty

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I am really disappointed that others say these books are good they are horrible.

It bit: New York hotels cost an arm and a leg, and Terri had flown from England to help plan her cousin's wedding. The new in-laws offered lodging. But they were a weird bunch. There was the sometimes chipper, sometimes brooding Lucern, and the wacky stage-actor, Vincent. (She couldn't imagine Broadway casting a hungrier singing-and-dancing Dracula.) And then there was Bastien. Just looking into his eyes, Terri had to admit she was falling for him.

What did you like best about Tall, Dark & Hungry? What did you like least?

the series is very good and I like reading about all the characters. However, the narrator made this a bad book his idea of a woman's voice is awful and kept pulling me out of the story.
