This book reminds you not to judge a book by the cover, or a person by a photograph. Written in a wonderful way not to judge other people, because we don't know their history and the why or how they got to where they are in life.
The characters were real and genuine. Kirsten Hannah is one of the best story writers of our time!

I was disappointed in When Snow Falls after listening to When Lightening Strikes. It was a bit a drag. I finished it out and I'm glad I did, but the story line was a little depressing. I just kept wanting the story to get on with it and come to the satisfactory resolution.

This book is hilarious! I was actually laughing out loud in the car, driving! I love the antics, funny phrases and dynamics of the characters. For any female that has gone through a divorce, you will totally relate.

Oh Yes! The story goes through so many emotions and ends the way I expected, but it is a truly wonderful book. A true love story, family love story.

My favorite part was when the husband comes back and how he embraces Lauren.

We found the first part of this story a little confusing and had to really pay attention.
After we got into it, the story line was very interesting. The way the Brandon Sanderson wove the characters was very unique.

This story made me think back to my teen years and the struggles I had. The portrayal of the characters are genuine.

I always like audible books better than reading a print version. I'm a multi-tasker and can't sit still long enough to read a print version.

The ending. I don't want to spoil the end for those that haven't listened to the book or read it, so I will just say that the ending is refreshing, loving and encouraging.
I am also and artist, so I was able to relate to the main character and her struggles in losing herself and fighting to find her passion again.

Susan Mallery has created a wonderful series and "Summer Days" is another wonderful creation. If you are listening to the series, don't miss this book. If you haven't listened to the series, now is the time to start and stay engaged with story line, characters and the wonderful town of Fools Gold.

This was a sweet story to listen to. Nice pace, funny characters. If you want something casual to listen to while you are driving, on vacation or working around the house, this is a tale that will keep your attention without going too deep.

This book really walks us through all the trials and tribulations we go through and how important it is to lean on our faith. Real struggles, real emotions, real solutions.
