    Well written but boring. I enjoyed the narrator but I found I could care less about Ged. I will not be continuing with this series as I could not make it through the first book.

Gradually, Sookie is drawn into the plot - which is much more complicated than she knows.

    I have to agree that this book was slow to develop, predictable, and simply fails to deliver. SO disappointed. I am a faithful Sookie fan and have loved this series (up until book 10, which was also a disappointment). The last two books have seemed half hearted at best. I do love the narrator, who gives such personality to all the characters, especially Sookie. I hate to say that it may be time to pull the plug on this series.
