"Rather enlightening"
I liked the honesty that I felt from the author. He told it like it was for him going through the experience of discovering something about himself. I found the story to be very enlightening for myself as well, since many of the things that they author mentioned were the same for me.
"A bit gritty, a bit, but overall a good story"
I liked that the story was told from the point of view of Christopher. I feel this will give people some insight as to how someone with autism or aspergers views and experiences the world.
"Not worth the credit"
The technique was very amateurish and really reminded me of something I would have heard in the 80's. Really wasn't not worth the credit that I wasted on this. Would really like my credit back, please, and maybe an extra one, too since the preview provided was so very misleading.
Most likely I would not.
Possibly if it was someone other than Ms. Meddows.
Honestly? All of them.
"Another Good One from Rickman"
Audible, you need to have ALL of Rickman's books available! This one was a good listen and was paced enough to keep me interested until the end.
"A Good Read that Kept Me Wondering"
Just when I decided that the story was a certain way, Mr. Rickman steers it in another direction! Loved the suspense! If you like Agatha Christi, Midsummer Murders or the like then you may like this one as well!
"Modern tale of paranormal"
I loved this one. A good read that kept me involved and listening... I feel that a sign of a good writer and story is when you as the reader simply want to throttle one of their characters. I needed to remind myself every so often that the character in question was simply that... a character... not a real person. If you like British series like Midsommer Murders, then you may very well like this book.
"A good listen"
I liked this. The story was woven together in such a way that my interest never wandered. If you like the British shows like Midsommer Murders, Inspector Morse or any of the Agatha Cristi offerings, then give this one a try. I also liked how the author doesn't play up the supernatural portions, but does intice us with their possibilities.
"Kept me listening!"
I loved this story when I first read it and was a bit disappointed with the adbridged version, since it really leaves out so much detail.
If this is your first time with this story then you should love it.
But, please Audilble.com, please get the Unabridged version!
"A good summer"
This was an enchanting listen that was able to keep me interested. The plot was a little predictable, but not entirely. I loved how the author was able to tell this story with its many layers yet keep it as real as could be expected.
