Parts of this made me laugh out loud and parts of it were boring. Overall I would recommend it to those of us who are looking for a light distraction from the angst and grind of our daily lives. Even my 19 year old son enjoyed listening to this and actually said he wants to "read the book in print" ( He doesn't read many books). It is anti-intellectual which is also a relief.
Loved the story and the reader who even reads with a heavy New York accent. Very entertaining and funny yet sad. A lot of emotions about relationships particularly about family
He is a fabulous reader. I have listened to every Phillip Roth book he has read and been totally engaged.
Fun, lots to learn.Good store guess they did a lot of research.
Dialogue, filling out of chara=cters and story
I thought this was sort of biographical and true. I thought it was girly gibberish. Don't bother listening to it. I quit after 7 chapters. It was just boring.
