The tone of the narrator's voice would change through the book. Again, his voice sounded more like a man past his forties.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

No, as poorly written as the first two in the triology, the storyline for Freed goes off the deep end. Its like James had nothing else to write so she made up stupid scenes and made Ana appear to be even more juvenile than she is. Not worth it. Stop after Darker.

Has Fifty Shades Freed turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes. The intense sex in the first book was a good read but then it got to be too much and honestly boring.

Annoying at first, but then you get used to it as Ana.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

Not to be so perfect.

Would you listen to Gone Girl again? Why?

Yes. The story starts out fairly slow and if you weren't paying attention you may have missed some things. Due to all the twists and turns and thoughts in main characters head, hard to keep the real facts straight.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Gone Girl?

Unbelieveable actions from antagonist.

What does Julia Whelan and Kirby Heyborne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kirby's voice was a bit annoying at first (too high pitched) but then you got used to it. By the end, both narrators really were perfect for their characters. Made you really visual who they were.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not all in one seating because it was too long but definitely as fast as you could listen.
