Sadie Hutchins loves her job at the Kentucky Tourism Commission. Not only could her co-workers double as the cast of Parks and Recreation, but she loves finding the unusual sites, hidden gems, and just-plain-odd tourist attractions of her home state. She’s a shoo-in for the director’s job when her boss retires at the end of the year…until hotshot Josh Vaughn shows up to challenge her for the position. Josh is all sophisticated polish while Sadie’s country comfort, and the two have very different ideas of what makes a good campaign.

On the outside, Dina Demille is the epitome of normal. She runs a quaint Victorian Bed and Breakfast in a small Texas town, owns a Shih Tzu named Beast, and is a perfect neighbor, whose biggest problem should be what to serve her guests for breakfast.

Would you consider the audio edition of Clean Sweep to be better than the print version?

    Not sure

What other book might you compare Clean Sweep to and why?

It falls in the same line as the Magic bites series. Plausible with the amount of "Facts" they lay out. Always entertaining.

Have you listened to any of Renee Raudman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I really like Ms. Raudman but you can tell who she is pulling for as the romantic lead with the voices she gives the men.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Not really but it did make me cringe which was intended so I call that a win.

    Any additional comments?

I love this author/s and wish they could just pluck the story fully formed from their brains so we can get them faster. I'm just greedy like that.

An Austenprose "Readers' Choice" for Top 5 Books of 2012. In this thrilling and sensual adaptation of the classic love story Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet and the citizens of Hertfordshire know Fitzwilliam Darcy to be a proud, unpleasant sort of man, but they never suspect the dark secret of his true nature. He is not a man at all - but a vampire.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes! this was great for the true P &P adult fan!

What did you like best about this story?

The blend of my favorite lines of P & P with a different perspective. Really well done.

Which character – as performed by Tim Campbell – was your favorite?

He did great with all of them. Elisabeth was not simpering and Darcy was perfect.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Now you know why... Darcy explained.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I liked the story and thought it was original BUT Oy! with the name repetition. I swear half the book is repeating Sam and Caine. The plot was good I just wish the author did not try and up the word count with redundant fluff.

If you’ve listened to books by Jacqueline Druga before, how does this one compare?

This was my first book by this author.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration was fine. It did not detract and I liked the happy puppy sound of Caine's persona.

Was Beyond Fear worth the listening time?

This was worth half the listening time. Like I said if you take out the name echo this would be a fine book.

    Any additional comments?

I think this author really has something original with the plot. The story was interesting enough. I cannot believe no one mentioned the repetitive calling of names as an issue prior to publishing. This might be one of those times when advice should have been heeded. If you are trucking around your life and want to listen to chatter with a good plot this book is fine. I had to stop listening for a few days to get past being annoyed by the name issue before I could finish it. Because I liked the concept I will give this author another shot. But I hope the same issues don't apply. Longer does not necessarily mean better however creativity can overcome sometimes.

Would you listen to Return of the Rose again? Why?

Sure the narrator did a great job and the story was well written.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Return of the Rose?

There were a couple of times when I had to stop listening because I was so invested in the characters I could not make it through the cringe worthy moments. I think that is a sign of a great listen.

Have you listened to any of Katherine Kellgren’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not listened to her before that I know of but she was completely involved in the characters. She does like a good crescendo.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did. (with the exception of life/ cringe breaks.

    Any additional comments?

Please don't pay attention to the naysayers. This was a really good listen and I would hate for you to miss out because someone else was in a bad mood when they heard the book. Enjoy.

And by her recent standards, things are actually looking up. Lycanthropes don't faze Anna. Doctoring a wolf pack outside Grundy, Alaska, is the closest thing to home life she's known in years. But hitching a ride to Anchorage with long-absent pack member Caleb Graham - that's a risk. Part of her itches to whack his nose with a newspaper. The rest is trying unsuccessfully to keep her own paws off every delicious inch of him.

What did you love best about How to Run with a Naked Werewolf?

In this book she takes the show on the road which always spices up her reads, not that they need it. By confining them to the road you get to see the relationship develop.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The beauty of these books is you love all the characters you are supposed to and not the ones you aren't.

    Which scene was your favorite?

Winning a fight due to s shellfish allergy was pretty original.

    I almost did.

The Master of Natchez, Mississippi has a nasty problem on his hands. Rogue vampires - those who follow the Naturaleza and believe that humans should be nothing more than prey to be hunted - are terrorizing his city. Luckily, he knows the perfect skinwalker to call in to take back the streets. But what he doesn’t tell Jane is that there’s something different about these vamps. Something that makes them harder to kill - even for a pro like Jane.

What made the experience of listening to Blood Trade the most enjoyable?

I wasn't sure when I first started this series I liked the two parts of Jane but the more I listened the more I enjoyed the duality. Now I can not get enough and hate that it takes so long in between books.

What other book might you compare Blood Trade to and why?

I am not sure there is another series exactly like this one. It is similar, I guess, to Laurell Hamilton's Necromancer series without "jumping the shark" with over raunchy sex. Faith Hunter keeps the intrigue of sizzle and has you wanting more.

What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?

Ms. Hvam, does a great job of getting to the right inflection and tone of each character. She does a great job with these books and I could not imagine another voice reading them.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved the conversation between the Pastor and Jane. I will probably quote that out in the world.

    Any additional comments?

Start at the first book and enjoy them all. Please Ms. Hunter write quickly. I am so excited for the next book!
