But now they’re on the verge of divorce and going to couples’ counseling. I really enjoyed this zombie book. It has lighthearted zombie action and good humor with some gore thrown in. A couple try to work through their marital problems while trying to stay alive at the same time. Funny and interesting take on zombies. It would make a good series.

"Why me? Why now?" That’s what Beaulac, Louisiana, detective Kara Gillian was asking herself when an angelic creature named Rhyzkahl unexpectedly appeared during a routine summoning. Kara was hoping to use her occult skills to catch a serial killer, but never had she conjured anything like this unearthly beautiful and unspeakably powerful being whose very touch set off exquisite new dimensions of pleasure.

This is a must listen to. The story is fantastic as is the narrator. I didn't guess who the serial killer was until just a minute before the mystery was solved. That's good. I hate it when I guess who it is way before the mystery is solved. It's sexy, scary and funny. Kara is a great female character. I'm not going to give anything away but its really good. I just ordered the 2nd book.

I totally enjoyed this book. It's creepy and interesting all the way through. I love it when it's not all romance and bad guy meets poor little girl...bla bla bla. There is a budding romance, but it doesn't take away from the main story. This story actually has a "creep" factor that I love!!! The narration is good except her screams are a little lame, besides that I didn't have a problem with her. I would definitely say listen to it. **** I am looking forward to the other books in the Kiera Hudson series.****

This is a great book. It was funny and disturbing all the way through. Kind of reminded me of a Karen Chance novel. I don't want to say to much so I don't ruin it for you. At the end I was like ahhhhhh....then huh....? I'm listening to the next book right now. I think it might be like a part 1 and part 2, because the end is left open and is very disturbing. Great Book and is a Must Read.

When Supernatural Investigation Bureau agent Bluebell Kildare (a.k.a. Blue) arrives at the scene of the crime, it's obvious the grotesquely damaged body of the deceased teenage boy was caused by far more than a simple hit and run; and she vows to catch the killer. Using her innate sixth sense, Blue uncovers a powerful magical artifact nearby. She soon discovers it acts as a key to an ancient Grimoire that was instrumental in the creation of the Vampire breed and still holds the power to unravel the boundaries between Earth and the Plane of Fire.

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Charlaine Harris has won numerous awards for her Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series, which has been adapted into the hit HBO show True Blood. In this 13th and final book, a murder rocks the town of Bon Temps and Sookie is arrested for the crime. After making bail, she sets out to clear her name - but her investigation only leads to more deaths.

Ms Harris has always said she writes for herself and I believe it after this one. Very selfish Ms Harris you obviously don't care about your fans. Totally different than the other books, but not better. Its not worth the paper its written on. Don't waste your money. I'm glad this was the last one in this series. I will never buy another one of her books.

Callis Rose is a girl blessed with a gift from above or cursed with a ruthless power she barely understands; it's really just a matter of degrees. As her family life is turned asunder she is thrown into an indifferent Social Services program where she defends herself the only way she knows how. Callis is moved from home to home until she finally settles at the Lowries. As she starts her first day of high school she meets both her favorite and least favorite person. Both happen to be part of the same household.

This is not one of Mark Tufo's Zombie books.... it's actually scarier than the Zombie books! He makes you care about Callis and then be scared of her and for her at the same time. The only thing I didn't get was the last 2 sentences. So I loved the book except for the last 6 seconds. LOL Don't let that throw you off the book though. This book is definately worth the listen!!!

The year is 2011, and what starts as a pervasive and inexplicable illness ends up as a zombie infestation that devastates the world's population. Taking the form of a biologist's journal found in the aftermath of the attack, this pulse-pounding, suspenseful tale of zombie apocalypse follows the narrator as he flees from city to countryside and heads north to Canada, where he hopes the undead will be slowed by the colder climate.

I really enjoyed this audio diary of this mans journey through the Zombie apocalypse. It's not a real long story and you don't really get to know most of the different people he meets, but you get to know him, his thoughts and what he is going through. When he was making the diary you can hear the people he's talking to, dogs barking and noises in the background and that made it feel very real for me. The ending gave me goose bumps! This is a good book and is definately worth a listen.

In a pulls-no-punches essay intended to provoke rational discussion, Stephen King sets down his thoughts about gun violence in America. Anger and grief in the wake of the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School are palpable in this urgent piece of writing, but no less remarkable are King's keen thoughtfulness and composure as he explores the contours of the gun-control issue and constructs his argument for what can and should be done.

It was a joy hearing Dracula from Mina’s perspective. Dracula was written from a man’s point of view since, of course, Bram Stoker was a man. There was no insight into what the feelings and relationship was between Dracula and the women in his story.

Dracula, My Love gives you the story as it could have been with the inside scoop from Mina and Dracula. It lets you see the other side of the story. Dracula is a wonderful horror book, but personally left me wanting more. Dracula, My Love completed the story for me!
