If you could sum up The Color of Law in three words, what would they be?

    Refreshing new author

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not really, fairly predictable given the leaning of most media outlets now...

What about Brian Keith Llewis’s performance did you like?

Well voiced for the different players

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The media in the 20th century :)

It's almost Christmas, but there is no joy in the house of terminally ill Jack and his family. With only a short time left to live, he spends his last days preparing to say goodbye to his devoted wife, Lizzie, and their three children. Then, unthinkably, tragedy strikes again: Lizzie is killed in a car accident. With no one able to care for them, the children are separated from each other and sent to live with family members around the country. But just when all seems lost, Jack begins to recover....

Karen says: "Ebook producers, please listen!"
"You sure this is David Baldacci ?"

Women are dying. Women who have nothing in common except the fact that they once worked for the military. And they knew Jack Reacher. How and why these women are in danger completely baffles the elite FBI team working the case. There is no trace evidence. There are no links between victims. Their bodies have no fatal wounds. And the killer entered their homes and exited again like a summer breeze.

Ed says: "Great book with a single flaw"
"Good book but was reader up to the challenge?"
    Overall

While we LIKED the book, I had to drop a star for the voice differentiation of the reader. This was our first listen of this series and hadn't gotten to "know" the characters, so a lot of furrowing of brows and sideways glances at each other trying to guess who was who at first.

But after a while we got it...
and thoroughly enjoyed it on our 12 hour rv ride!
    Made the miles fly by!
