This was recommended by a friend and I loved it. The book had a great storyline, the ending was not what I expected at all. I could not put this down, and had to keep listening until I finished it.

This book was one of the best books I have listened to yet. The narration as well as the storyline was fantastic. The book gave me a better understanding of the Holocoust (informative) and what happened during that time. I could not put my earphones down, even snuck them into work because I had to finish the book. I would recommend this book highly.

All I can say was this audiobook was AWESOME. The narrator was fantastic, his voices of the charachters were so distinct. I saw Part I The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in the movies, so listening to this book I could picture all the charachters and it was so fantastic. I finished, and sat there, and just couldnt wait until my next credit to finish the Trilogy. So I ran in from my car and purchased Book 3. This is a definite MUST LISTEN!

Everything starts somewhere. For elite military cop Jack Reacher, that somewhere was Carter Crossing, Mississippi, way back in 1997. A young woman is dead, and solid evidence points to a soldier at a nearby military base. But that soldier has powerful friends in Washington. Reacher is ordered undercover - to find out everything he can, to control the local police, and then to vanish. Reacher is a good soldier. But when he gets to Carter Crossing, he finds layers no one saw coming, and the investigation spins out of control. Local sheriff Elizabeth Deveraux has a thirst for justice - and an appetite for secrets.

This book was so hard to get into. I did not actually show any interest in the book until Chapter 46 and then at that point I was so tired of the narrator, he was very monotone. The only reason I finished listening to it was because it was in a car. My husband, who does not listen to books, was in the car with me, and he asked how I could listen to the reader? I probably will not see the movie, especially if Tom Cruise is in it, he is definitely not Reacher.

At the heart of these stories, as with all the best of Lovecraft’s work, is the belief that the Earth was once inhabited by powerful and evil gods, just waiting for the chance to recolonise their planet. Cthulhu is one such god, lurking deep beneath the sea until called into being by cult followers who – like all humans – know not what they do.

Loved the story line. Listened to intently, the narration was very good. I was just a little disappointed in the end. Just kept me hanging. You really wanted something to happen at the end. But it doesnt. So I am going to read another one of their books and hopefully that will be a continuation. Would definitely recommend.
