After having a relationship with someone with BPD, it really made everything make sense.
I never even knew what really was until this book, which really had me saying "yes, that's it exactly" over and over. It helped clear up so many issues that were still standing out in my memory and make sense of it all.

What an interesting listen!
I loved this book. Especially the descriptions of the various experiences of the test subjects. It really blows your mind to even merely consider the theories being presented here. I hope to soon see more books in this category.

I rarely write a bad review, but this one irked me.
There's some good tidbits of info in this book, but the first 30 minutes involves a haranguing of the reader, assuming you are a spoiled, egotistical, lazy brat who needs deflating before the information can be delivered. I'm not sure if its supposed to be funny or addressing a real social issue. Either way I paid for business advice, not a smarmy 30 minute talking down, when the point could have been made in 5 minutes max.
(I like when he says in a condescending tone "here's some free advice". We'll no its not quite free is it?)

Having said that, once the half hour of abuse ended there was some good information here and there that allowed me to get through to the end.

Overall though, if you're looking for a good, new business book, I'd recommend Super Rich instead. He delivers the same down to earth business advice without the condescending and passive aggressive attitude.

Delivering high minded truths in a very down to earth, New Yorker way.
He's able to deliver sound advice in very simple and easy to understand terms.
So simple that it seems strange that not everyone lives that way already.

Ram Dass is now one of my new all time favorites in this category.
He has a way of explaining very complicated ideas in a very simple way.
I don't normally write reviews, but for this one I had to because I enjoyed it so much.

The best of the series, although some of it might be hard to wrap your head around. The format is done very nicely as it is the form of question and answer, as book 2 was made.

Certainly those with a dogmatic approach to god might have some trouble with it as it constantly challenges the classic ideas of what god really is.

I would love however to find out more about this lost advanced civilization. Its mentioned but they don't go much in depth into it.

Lots of great information in this book, but probably not a lot that you will use unless you really want to get deep into the market.

Mad Money goes even deeper if you really want to get into trading rather than investing.

If you want a more passive approach to investing then read Rule #1.

I bought this book because I'm also 28 and have been living a similar kind of life, leaving boring work in Canada, and moving to europe to pursue a career as a DJ.

He does have a lot of good points about managing time better, and pursuing your goals, using the internet, but the fails to take into account the sacrifices as well as background, that are made to live this kind of life, as well as the different outlook someone has in their 20's.

The narrator reads in a sarcastic, negative way which I didn't particularly like.

Its good to delegate work when needed, but delegating communication in personal relationships goes a bit too far.

I believe in doing everything to build your dream, but it seems like this speaks more about avoiding work.

Once you have outsourced your entire life and personal relationships and have traveled everywhere you want to go, what then?

Read Think and Grow Rich, Bryan Tracy or Wayne Dyer. They paint a much more complete and broader picture of success really is.
