This is the first of Ms. Hobb's books I've read but it won't be the last. Her plot lines and characters are well-developed and and interesting, and I found I didn't want to stop the story to get out of the car. Ms. Flosnik adds her considerable talent and expression to make this a thoroughly engrossing read.
