I have enjoyed many of Hilderbrand's books--always a great summer read. But I found this one a long, slow slog. It was tedious to say the least. The plot was almost non-existent, and what little there was, was predictable. Her use of flashbacks really didn't work well. Was glad to get to the end and move on to a better book.
