A few good ideas (thank God) but generally this is nothing but a commercial for Harvard's executive program. Don't waste your money. Call Harvard and ask for a brochure if that's your cup of tea.
Very one-sided (anti-Microsoft) - I guess if you're a Microsoft-hater you'll probably like it, but otherwise skip it.
I was wary of this book - I consider myself a moderate (most definitely socially, if not economically) and listened to Al Franken's 'Lies' just prior to this. Franken spends half the book accusing Coulter of being both a liar and a lunatic. Thankfully I decided to give this book a chance.
Al Franken is perhaps a BIT (although not much) funnier than Ann but Slander is a MUCH better book. And unlike Franken's, this book does NOT stoop to the level of personal attacks and unjustified invective.
It's not surprising the hard-core liberals choose to slam this book. But if you've got an even slightly open mind, I suggest you give it a chance and take a listen. Like me, you may find yourself (very) pleasantly surprised.
This is basically the 'Cliff Notes' version of the book. Cut back far too much - this version tells you the basics, but there is absolutely zero character development.
