The verbs are very difficult to understand and not explained at all. I've listened to 11-15 five times and still can't move onto 16. It's very difficult to tell if the sound being made is a "b" sound or a "v" sound, even with very good quality earbuds.
The verb conjugations need to be explained better.
The narrator is obviously well trained and has perfect diction, enunciating each word perfectly, however that's not how real people speak and I found it distracting and kind of annoying.
the accents were not done well and really took away from the story.
I would recommend this book. Even though I have read all the Alan Gregory books this one had lots of twists and turns - not same old, same old that's for sure!
I have to say that although I have read all the Alan Gregory books, this is the first one I've listened to and I didn't feel that the voice of the narrator matched the Dr. Gregory I had in my mind. The narrator's voice sounded much older than Dr. Gregory is in the story. It threw me for a bit until I got used to it.
