"Four legs good - two legs better"
This book is a standard - a real classic. I listened to it once. Then I played it for my sons and listened to it again. It's good.
"An Engaging and Dark Mystery Novel - Good Stuff"
The character and plot development are excellent.
Mikael Blomkvist is the man.
I have not.
I like the way the book ends. I don't want to give it away.
I recommend this book. But beware, it gets graphic and disturbing.
"Agonizingly dull and boring"
Ishmael is bored and wants to sail... blah blah blah... Cannibal... blah blah blah... Ahab is crazy... blah blah blah... whale encyclopedia... blah blah blah... harpoon... blah blah blah... Moby Dick kills everyone but Ishmael.
The narrator is good though.
"Entertaining"
I needed to listen to a book like this. The last few books that I listened to were long and heavy.
It's entertaining. It's humorous. I could have listened to it in one sitting.
I think I will listen to it again with my young sons.
"Timshel"
This is a beautiful and moving story. It is heart wrenching.
I wanted it to end.
I highly recommend it.
"I like it."
It's up there. I will probably listen to it again someday.
The hand through the glass windows
I have not - but this is a good one.
Not a single one of them - they're stinkin' crazy
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and production.
"I am guilty... a little bit"
My wife asked me to download this book. (You must believe me.) I tried to listen to it. I got up to the part where they start getting down to business. The conversations are agonizingly dull. The plot develops so slowly that the story becomes cliche 1/4 through the book. I didn't finish the book.
"A Disturbing Account"
This is a good production. The reader is able to distinguish characters well. The story is a disturbing account of the US occupation of Iraq. The book keeps good time.
"The sound of white noise (no pun intended)"
This is a light book. I could zone out and still catch the gist of it. I thought it was going to be annoying but it actually provided some comic relief in my days. Light and easy.
"Now I get it..."
The narration and explanations are helpful. I have always struggled through Shakespearean plays.
Don't fret.
This production also comes with a performance that is uninterrupted. Start on Chapter 6 of the audio book for it.
