"Seriously out of data"
While the audio edition may be recent this is an old book with old data and mostly a waste of time..Example, no mention of Goggle+ or Pinterest.
Perhaps, if it is recent.
Very good
Yes, some of the info is "timeless" but that doesn't make up for all the outdated info.
"Outstanding"
Excellent book. We really don't know what our government is up to and it has become something very different than we thought. We have to decide if this is really what we want.
"Processed food will kill you"
If you have any concern for your future health, and have any sense that what you eat may be connected with that future health then YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK.
"A classic worth re-reading"
While I read this book years ago, listening to it was like reading an entirely new book. Seeing Viet Nam in light of our experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan it is clear that as a country we cannot benefit from our past.
Impossible -- too long.
"I found the Narrators attempt at accents irritatin"
This narrator has read several well known books and I am sure is loved by many. I, however, found his attempt at accents to be irritating. So irritating in fact that I stopped listening to the book.
No, but I won't listen to any other books read by this narrator.
His use of accents seemed strained and it detracted from the reading rather than adding to it.
"Science Preaching"
If you want a sermon on an optimistic scientific future, read this book. If you want a sermon on an optimistic scientific future, read this book.
"Sucker punch"
This is an old style sucker punch of a book. Our hero goes through unbelievable hardships (as told by the author) only to be cured of his alcoholism and excessive smoking habit by one visit to Billy Graham's revival tent--give me a break. After that you can't believe anything in this book.
