This is a fine book/story for the right audience. But it really applies more to people who are trying to raise themselves up and get their core life together. Unfortunately I did not get this from the reviews and synopsis before purchasing. Great story, just not really what I was looking for in a audio book.
Health, Diet, and Exercise advice is out there in abundance. Knowing what is believable or not is always tough. Dr. Goodman's lecture was clear, to the point, and makes perfect sense.
Very comprehensive and practical.
Easy to listen to, it's a long lecture, but never got old.
"Eat mostly plants, and not too much" is a great quote he used in the lecture.
If you step back from this subject in general, it's all about common sense and moderation. Eat wholesome, exercise more, get plenty of rest. But the how's and why's are clearly presented with common sense approach to achieving all of this. Everything from prostate exam options to menopause and children's health or allergies. Loved it!
