Based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

Having previously read other Walter Isaacson biographies, this one certainly didn't disappoint. Steve Jobs was a very interesting and complicated business leader, and visionary, and Isaacson does a terrific job in protraying Jobs' life and motivations. Thanks to this book, I have a much deeper appreciation for how Apple was built, the depths to which it sank during Jobs' Next and Pixar years, and how it has grown to its current status. I bought this audiobook soon after it was released and finished it quickly, it is very well done and read by Dylan Baker - I highly recommend it.

This is Jim Dale's incomparable telling of the beloved A Christmas Carol, a "little book," as Charles Dickens himself called it, which has been treasured by generations since December of 1843. Listeners of all ages will be enthralled as they meet for the first time, or are reunited with, that miser of all misers, Mr. Ebenezer Scrooge.

This is my favorite Christmas story, and I have a few versions of the story in movie form, but I always enjoy Jim Dale's performances and this reading was excellent. The unabridged form is a pleasure to listen to, and my children enjoyed hearing details that never come through in an acted stage performance. Extremely well done, we listened to it twice before Christmas!
