Has Unbound turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not this genre but diffenately this author

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Justine O. Keef?

Anyone whom can make their voice someone interesting

What made the experience of listening to The Autumn Bride the most enjoyable?

Whitty females getting the best of the alpha males in their lives. Love the strength and bond the women have in this story. Not the normal smugness usally expected fo the "Gentle People" of this era.

What other book might you compare The Autumn Bride to and why?

This book reminded me of Lisa Kleypas, The Hathaways Series. The oddities that just make you laugh.

Which character – as performed by Alison Larkin – was your favorite?

Lady Beatrice Davenham "The Aunt"; is the best and most favored charater.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book had me in stitches ..... It made laugh so hard I was crying. This is a great pick me up.

What do you do when you wake up to a whole new life…with dangerous urges you can't control? Medic Drake McKennan has never been good at following protocol, so she doesn't think twice about rendering emergency care when a teenager's life is at stake - even if the young girl is in the throes of Were fever and any sane human should know better. It isn't the bright shining pain of the bite or even the wrenching agonies of the fever that convinces Drake everything in her life has changed.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Those who don't care about the story but prefer eroticism

Would you ever listen to anything by L. L. Raand again?

    No

What didn’t you like about Maxine Mitchell’s performance?

    Strong voice

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

    No

    Any additional comments?

Not really into the FF thing but I enjoy a good story. This storyline acts as though males are not necessary. But the females act like males physically. That makes no sense, females reproducing with females is the author just trying a little to hard to make the f/f mates work naturally.

Dr. Allison Baker is obsessed with saving the comatose New Species male. She has tried everything and there’s only one option left. Alli will break every rule and put her life in danger by tempting 880 to wake, using only her feminine scent and touch. She just has to kidnap him and crawl into bed with him to make it work. 880 wakes in a different world with a small female who’s been sleeping beside him, caressing him, and wrapping her sweet body around his, teasing his senses. He lies silent and still, listening and evaluating each arousing touch, fighting his body’s reaction.

    What disappointed you about Obsidian?

So I may be a little too harsh but, I can help thinking Dr. Allison has mental issues and was a litte too desparate. I did not feel the emotional connection between her and Obsidian. In fact I found myself thinking she was a manipulative stocker..weak, needy and irrational.

What was most disappointing about Laurann Dohner’s story?

There was something just off. The heronine professed wanting what was best for her "mate" but she was really irrational him learning to fit in with the other species.

A species right out of the lab is almost child-like, learning how to living in a world of humans. She wanted Obsidian to be dependant on her and did not think about his state of mind. She is a Dr who falls in love with a comatos patient.Rather than acting the adult and using her medical knowledge to aid her or maybe calling Tricia (her boss) about his health, she steals him and trys to heal him by letting her scent him? This was after she wanted to make a female species first be the a guinea pig.....

The whole story reminded me of school room teacher trying to convience her adolesent student to love her..... Just inappropriate

Did Vanessa Chambers do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Yes, while here voices can be harsh she does a prretty good job

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Obsidian?

The story flow seemed to be in conflict on one hand Dr. Allison wants Obsidian to be self sufficient in the next she wants him to need her and trust only her.

At one point in the story she is begging on her knees with her arm wrapped around Obsidians legs. REALLY

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

    Perhaps

What do you think your next listen will be?

The last story in the series

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

Narrator is pretty good. She needs a stronger story to read.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    Nah too sluttly

    Any additional comments?

This is just too predictable. If things are in danger the thing to do is definately the thing to do is have sex. How stupid can you be, really. If these Alpha males where mine I would have to exchange for a smarter version. I am really hoping the next is a little more action packed.

Graced with the ability to shift into any form, Diskant Black is the absolute authority when it comes to New York shifters, and as the Omega of the city, his word is law. Protecting the shifter races is more than a job, it's a predisposition ingrained since birth - nothing is more important. Until a chance encounter with a tiny female sets fire to his blood, brings him to his knees and turns his world upside down. Ava Brisbane is more than he bargained for in a mate - beautiful, fragile...human.

What did you like best about Omega Mine? What did you like least?

The storyline is good and captures my interest. The problem is the focus is on sex not on the story or developing characters and relationships. The author needs to choose either write a sex book or a good storyline about shifters.

What was most disappointing about Aline Hunter’s story?

The random sex when danger and death is occurring. People whom are suppose to be careful with their life are pretty slow on the up take.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Maxine Mitchell?

    Yes, she did well

Did Omega Mine inspire you to do anything?

Fast-forward through the sex scenes and listen through the story.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes, there was really no chemistry between the hero and heroine. If mates are so scarce one would think the males would protect there mates better. Seriously how does a woman get kidnapped by wolves and humans every second.

If you’ve listened to books by Heather Killough-Walden before, how does this one compare?

No she has a good storyline e just very weak charaters

How could the performance have been better?

Narrator could have stayed in the same dialect through our the book. The mix between the southern drawl os the charaters and the British accent during the storyline three me off

Could you see The Heat being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Yes a bad B flick scary movie..... The one you say the entire time "don't go in there"

    Any additional comments?

Book too expensive to have such a weak story.

What was most disappointing about Nora Roberts’s story?

There was NO story, I am not sure. No plot, not mystery (Unless you count the ghost). I think it was supose to be a romance but it was just blah. BORING

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of MacLeod Andrews?

I actually did not mind the narrator but he really did not have much work with so not much to mess up

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

If you could sum up Black Moon in three words, what would they be?

Compassion, Action and Emotion! You can't help but feel for Kaylan and his background

Would you recommend Black Moon to your friends? Why or why not?

So I would recommend the story as I am enjoying the series and really connected with Kaylan. But honestly I was not with his mate. Mac was just annoying and must suck as a psychiatrist. She just did not seem to understand Kaylan or what he needed. In every instance of his bad incidents she was the cause. Oh we'll it was a great story minus the self involve woman.... How could she let everyone but him know about her issue with their relationship

What about Kirsten Potter’s performance did you like?

Very nice really brought out the characters

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

You think your family is disfunctional....Try mine

If you could sum up The Witness in three words, what would they be?

    Engrossing, Adventurous, Romantic

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Witness?

The socially inept city girl genius meeting the mother of the sexy Town Sheriff. I can only imgine how it feels to have a I.Q of 210 not use to dealing with people, silly expressions would take a whole new meaning.

What about Julia Whelan’s performance did you like?

She was on point with the expressions of both a southern gentleman and nosy townspeople. I am from the south and was raised in a small town. We love gossip and have only slight twangs in our voices. Most narrators put too heavy southern accent making the characters sound stupid.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I just really enjoy the book, listening to it was like watching a good movie. I should have had some popcorn
