The women's storeline..The two women in Aeron's life, those whom claimed to love him soooo much, were selfish never caring about what Aeron actually wanted. We are in the middle of a war ladies and you guy are trying trick this man into bedding you. The Angel Olivia was just as spoiled of the Demon Legion.

Yes, I really have like the Lord of the Underworld series. I would enjoy to listen to another.

Whether Male or Female he has the voice down packed. He pulls you into the mood of the story.

Slap some sense into the selfish women and tell Aeron to pick a grown woman.

Yes, there was really no chemistry between the hero and heroine. If mates are so scarce one would think the males would protect there mates better. Seriously how does a woman get kidnapped by wolves and humans every second.

Narrator could have stayed in the same dialect through our the book. The mix between the southern drawl os the charaters and the British accent during the storyline three me off

There was NO story, I am not sure. No plot, not mystery (Unless you count the ghost). I think it was supose to be a romance but it was just blah. BORING

I actually did not mind the narrator but he really did not have much work with so not much to mess up

So I would recommend the story as I am enjoying the series and really connected with Kaylan. But honestly I was not with his mate. Mac was just annoying and must suck as a psychiatrist. She just did not seem to understand Kaylan or what he needed. In every instance of his bad incidents she was the cause. Oh we'll it was a great story minus the self involve woman.... How could she let everyone but him know about her issue with their relationship

The socially inept city girl genius meeting the mother of the sexy Town Sheriff. I can only imgine how it feels to have a I.Q of 210 not use to dealing with people, silly expressions would take a whole new meaning.

She was on point with the expressions of both a southern gentleman and nosy townspeople. I am from the south and was raised in a small town. We love gossip and have only slight twangs in our voices. Most narrators put too heavy southern accent making the characters sound stupid.

I just really enjoy the book, listening to it was like watching a good movie. I should have had some popcorn

It was a decent amount of time well-spent. The story line was different from other vampire novels as it creates a spin in vampire society. Even immortality and strength is not imprevious to bigotry and casts systems.

This was my first Kendra Leigh Castle book, I am always ready for a good series to begin. I am looking forward to continuing with this one.

No never heard Peter Bradbury's narration but he gave each character life which is good.

I may depending on the actors seems like it would make a better TV series. Puts me in mind of V with a little Xena the Princess Warrior.

The byplay between Strider and Kaia was wonderful. The contrasted between confidence and doubt in both main charaters was a good mix. No sappy love or weak women in this story. This book was about strength both phyiscal and emotional

Harpy and Pheniox myths are not used often in stories. I like the original storyline.

Gena is really good at making you care about the characters both the good and bad. You find yourself wanting to understand the underline cause of why the characters behave they way they do.

I hate hearing him swallow his spit ...... Not attractive when directly in your ear. It is like listening to someone eating cereal. YUCK!!!

Yes, I am really enjoying the series. These couple of books I've read in the series have not been my favorite. Though Darkest Passion was the worse, Darkest Secret, while not bad just kind of seem to lose focus. The whole story seemed like the author was kind of brainstorming without a true direction.

I really want to finish the series as I need to know what will happen to Paris, William and Torren. Just hope it gets back on track. Seems to have been rambling with Secrets.

I did enjoy the book. I do love a good wholesome romance with a true story line and not just about sex. This book however needed a good slap in the face by the heorine to her sister for being such a brat.

Nah...much too sappy, much better to read and use the imagination. But if you throw in a good sister to sister knock down drag out fight. I would consider it.

I would as it made me laugh. Romantic comedy is one of my favorites.
